She Hulk was never a "successor" character, though. She was never intended to be taking over Hulk's place in the Avengers or the MCU. Her show was a super hero courtroom comedy with some action mixed in which, actually, is what her best comic runs usually are.
The only one of these that was ever planned as a "successor" was captain america. If iron heart ever shows up again, it is just as likely to be as a villain than a hero, based on the actual show
Yeah, the Falcon ans Winter Solider TV show and the Captain America movie were very concerned with the legacy and meaning behind inheriting the shield and the idea of Captain America. whether or not they did a good job is subjective but they were actively trying to be about that.
and if anyone is being set up to succeed Tony Stark in the MCU it's Peter Parker, since so much of his arc been about carrying on Tony's legacy after being his protégé.
Nah, Peter Parker will always be Spider-Man. I doubt they'd want him to be iron manish considering we already went through that phase since the first 2 movies. Where peter be himself rather than caring about the iron spider suit.
They didn't say become Iron Man. They said succeed Tony Stark. Super intelligent guy making suits out of advanced technology with the intelligence to lead a team of super heroes? Even if makes his own suit, he still fits all that.
