2 are women and 2 are black. Except OP is full of shit. She-Hulk is not a successor to Hulk because Hulk is very much still around. And She-Hulk series is just shit, same with Ironheart. The actual reason those flopped is they are mediocre to shit movies/series coming out at time a lot of people had already tapped out of the MCU.
Honestly Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is far more a successor to Tony Stark than Riri. Different stakes and abilities, sure, but Stark was a mentor/father figure to him. The only thing Iron Heart has is a reverse engineered Iron Man suit. Now I didn’t read the comics she was in, so I have no idea how she fits in the story there, but in the MCU her character overall kinda felt shoehorned in at the last moment to fill the Iron Man “tech savvy” niche.
The comics handle her better. I think the main reason she was introduced in Wakanda Forever is that she's often paired up with some of the other young adult women characters in the comics like Kate Bishop or Cassie Lang. It seemed like they wanted to do that in the MCU as well so they rushed her character introduction.
But that's not really how people see it. Ironman is gone, here's a new character that's super smart and has a suit of armor. Also iron in the name. It's clearly a replacement.
