Why do y'all care about spoilers the show's been out for over 20 years?

I'd guess because going into it blind allows for the full emotional experience of the show.

Like the Red Wedding in Game of Thrones, knowing what's going to happen dulls the experience.

Thank fuck for people like you.

I never understand people spoiling shit for others and then saying « well it’s been out for years »

Well, yeah, but people don’t necessarily read/watch them as they came out… Harry Potter has been out for years, I’m still not gonna spoil it for the next kid I see reading it.

Got my buddy who had somehow managed to avoid everything GoT related other than the ending sucked into it finally earlier in the year and it genuienly sucked sometimes talking to him because he wanted to talk theories so bad and I really wanted to engage but I just had to nod my head and basically go "yeah man who knows"

Was constantly reading episode summaries as he went along so I didn't accidentally reveal anything he hadn't seen.

You’re a great friend !

Asoif are my favorite books, and part of the experience are all those twists and turns !

(I was one of those people trying to avoid all the spoilers, even after having read it all. And I always had to explain to people how the last two books are not out, so that’s why I could still get spoiled.

I ended up binge-watching the entire thing a few weeks ago while pregnant and bedridden. And oh, was it magnificent ! (Except maybe the very last episode, which had… its flaws.)
