I don't know many Chinese characters. But I know this isn't Japanese or Korean either. Maybe another language or some personal symbol?

Buddy Japanese symbols and Chinese symbols are the same. Japanese Kanji is just Chinese characters.

Hiragana and Katakana are exclusive to Japanese. Japanese isn't just Kanji like Chinese is just Hanzi.

Yes but those aren’t symbols those are kana which are much closer to an alphabet in structure and implementation.
