Help! What color is easiest to cover?

Post image

I am wanting to have my toddler photographed as each of the 4 Wiggles and put together on one canvas. My family member takes photos and does some photoshop. She and I decided it would be best to take my kid’s picture in one shirt and just use photoshop to change the colors.

We need to decide what color shirt he should wear for the photos. We have decided not to do yellow because the logo is yellow and it might be too hard to separate.

Can any of the other colors easily be turned yellow or should I just make him a white shirt with the logo on it?

Made this shirt with threshold and solid fill layers. Really liked how it came out.

Been obsessed with the shirt design medium over the summer and I’m nervous I’m getting too carried away. I feel like I’m putting every little graphic on a shirt these days…

(If you’ve seen this post before, it was originally on graphic design Reddit but was taken down due to being more of an artistic creation than design one. No hard feelings.)

Help! Weird Visual Glitch: Please Help if you can!

Post image

I've never had this issue before and I'm not quite sure how to fix it (sorry for the bad photo, it was the best I could get to show the problem).

For some odd reason, my Photoshop Workspace will randomly switch between light and dark, which oversaturates the colors on the canvas and is making it impossible to color anything. Interestingly enough, the colors only change visually, so if I color pick it will be accurate to the "normal" version as opposed to the oversaturated one.

I've tried restarting Photoshop and my computer, but no dice. All my visual drivers are up to date as well. I haven't uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop but I'm hoping there might be a way to fix this without doing so.

Please help if you can, thanks!

Help! Photoshop colors not matching lightroom exports despite using the same color profile

Hello,

I am a student at University and I do photography from bands on campus. I am exporting from lightroom with ProPhoto RGB as the color space.

When I post my images, I need to paste all images into a photoshop document with a square, transparent background, so I can post horizontally and vertically in one post (you cannot post mixed aspect ratios in one post on laptop).

However, when i bring my lightroom export into photoshop (which is set to ProPhoto RGB color space in the color settings, the colors are very off.

When I open the lightroom export from my library, the image looks just how it does in lightroom. But in photoshop, its totally different.

Please let me know if you have any ideas for me because this is a persistent issue that is driving me insane. Thank you so much.

Edit: just realized my ASUS ProArt laptop is running a custom(?) color profile. I have already done calibration on this laptop. do I need to download an sRGB profile from somewhere?

You can see the major difference between the image when it is opened up, and the image after being dragged and dropped into photoshop
Lightroom export settings

Help! Realistic crayon brushes?

Currently looking for a brush set that helps me emulate this exact look. I don't mind paying - the main thing is that I'm able to achieve that level of layering, texture and gaps.

This was likely done with physical media but I would love to get as close as possible to it with PS (happy to hear other animation-capable software with amazing brushes if what I'm asking is impossible)

Help! Anyone else getting a white box when trying to start a new project?

I had this issues prior and treid the new update today for August and i'm having the same issue even with the new update.
I have a 4080 GPU, and a really strong CPU and 64gb of ram so I don't think it's computer related. The last update and this new one both give me a white box and take forever to load the "new project" box.

If i go back two versions on Photoshop it loads right away and is fine.

Help!

Help! One out-of focus photo, many other in-focus photos. Best technique to improve the one photo?

Hello! I'm not a photoshop pro, but used it a bunch in the past in highschool when doing some light graphic design.

im trying to help a photog friend of mine where she has one blurry (out of focus) photo of the subject in a certain pose, and then a bunch of other poses that are in-focus. so whats my best course of action. I tried the new AI photoshop sharpen but it literally does not do a damn thing. lmao. chatgpt does better with a prompt to sharpen.

but in general is there some tool or something thats known where i can provide context of the subject, and then sharpen the blurry subject with the provided context? appreciate it!

Help! Help with creating half-tone screen print look from an image.

I'm attempting to make the 1st image look like the 2nd in terms of rendering with the end goal of screen printing on a shirt. What steps should i take to get there? These will be printed on black shirts so the image should be mainly white for the end result. I'll need to remove the background and give it the half tone look while not compromising detail. I think I'll likely need to make the camera that is in the shadow of the solar panel brighter and I'm not sure how to do that successfully without making it look strange. Any advice would be super helpful, thanks!

Help! Question about the resolution/file size limit and photoshop and potential workarounds for a large project.

So I'm currently working on a large world map project for a fantasy world. Currently, my world map's resolution is 16384x8192, and a file size of about 70mb. What I'd like to eventually do is make a series of local maps of roughly the same size and tile them together in photoshop to get a massive, highly detailed world map. Ideally, it would be comprised of around 12-16 tiles. From what I can find online the pixel limit in photoshop is 30,000 by 30,000. Which leads me to believe I wouldn't be able to stitch the whole thing together in photoshop and retain the pixel count. Is there a secondary step I can take to achieve this or another workaround? If say, I had 4 maps in photoshop that were around that pixel limit, how would I then stitch those together? Any advise or suggestions would be appreciated.

Help! My colors dont match anymore - pls help

SOLVED
Hi, I have a major problem. After updating my NVIDIA graphics driver, the colors in Photoshop suddenly appear much darker and more intense than they should. Everything looks normal in the RAW converter, on my iphone... hell even in the normal windows view ... but the difference once the image is opened in the Photoshop workspace is extreme.
What’s really interesting is that if I disable GPU acceleration in Photoshop, the problem disappears. But obviously, that can’t really be the solution, especially since I need GPU acceleration for things like Denoise and AI features.
Another interesting detail: the problem only occurs on my second monitor. On monitor 1, the colors look completely normal. On monitor 2, the colors are significantly darker and more contrasty. This was absolutely never a problem before the NVIDIA driver update.
I’ve already tried everything I can think of: reinstalling the NVIDIA driver, updating Photoshop, checking the color settings, etc. Nothing has helped.
I’m honestly at a loss and would really appreciate any help figuring out what’s causing this.
