I have a couple of vacation photos that I like but my hair is a mess and friends and family hairs are also messy. I'm not too familiar with the latest PS tools since it's been years since I've used it. But I was wondering what's the best tool for things like styling bangs back up, fill in gaps, etc. Just throwing some examples: men's hair where the bangs fell down because of the wind or something, and I'd like to comb it back up.
I looked on youtube and there were some cool generative ai tutorials using the lasso tool. Is this the appropriate tool to use?
I am wanting to have my toddler photographed as each of the 4 Wiggles and put together on one canvas. My family member takes photos and does some photoshop. She and I decided it would be best to take my kid’s picture in one shirt and just use photoshop to change the colors.
We need to decide what color shirt he should wear for the photos. We have decided not to do yellow because the logo is yellow and it might be too hard to separate.
Can any of the other colors easily be turned yellow or should I just make him a white shirt with the logo on it?
Made this shirt with threshold and solid fill layers. Really liked how it came out.
Been obsessed with the shirt design medium over the summer and I’m nervous I’m getting too carried away. I feel like I’m putting every little graphic on a shirt these days…
(If you’ve seen this post before, it was originally on graphic design Reddit but was taken down due to being more of an artistic creation than design one. No hard feelings.)
I think it would be pretty sick if I could add these details but I have absolutely no idea where to start. I’m not very knowledgeable in photoshop as I’m spend most of my time in Lightroom. Any tips will be very appreciated 🙏
I've never had this issue before and I'm not quite sure how to fix it (sorry for the bad photo, it was the best I could get to show the problem).
For some odd reason, my Photoshop Workspace will randomly switch between light and dark, which oversaturates the colors on the canvas and is making it impossible to color anything. Interestingly enough, the colors only change visually, so if I color pick it will be accurate to the "normal" version as opposed to the oversaturated one.
I've tried restarting Photoshop and my computer, but no dice. All my visual drivers are up to date as well. I haven't uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop but I'm hoping there might be a way to fix this without doing so.
I genuinely want to know what you guys think? With the repid development of AI tools,is it still worth studying Photoshop? And I am an english beginner. If this paragraph has some grammar errors,i hope you can understand.
I follow several kpop groups and have always seen other people sharing wallpaper size images of the photos posted.
Would like to try making it myself as I have a ton that I want. Anyone here can advise how do I edit the photo to wallpaper size without cropping or losing quality or even make it 4K(?)
I am a student at University and I do photography from bands on campus. I am exporting from lightroom with ProPhoto RGB as the color space.
When I post my images, I need to paste all images into a photoshop document with a square, transparent background, so I can post horizontally and vertically in one post (you cannot post mixed aspect ratios in one post on laptop).
However, when i bring my lightroom export into photoshop (which is set to ProPhoto RGB color space in the color settings, the colors are very off.
When I open the lightroom export from my library, the image looks just how it does in lightroom. But in photoshop, its totally different.
Please let me know if you have any ideas for me because this is a persistent issue that is driving me insane. Thank you so much.
Edit: just realized my ASUS ProArt laptop is running a custom(?) color profile. I have already done calibration on this laptop. do I need to download an sRGB profile from somewhere?
You can see the major difference between the image when it is opened up, and the image after being dragged and dropped into photoshopLightroom export settings
Currently looking for a brush set that helps me emulate this exact look. I don't mind paying - the main thing is that I'm able to achieve that level of layering, texture and gaps.
This was likely done with physical media but I would love to get as close as possible to it with PS (happy to hear other animation-capable software with amazing brushes if what I'm asking is impossible)
I had this issues prior and treid the new update today for August and i'm having the same issue even with the new update.
I have a 4080 GPU, and a really strong CPU and 64gb of ram so I don't think it's computer related. The last update and this new one both give me a white box and take forever to load the "new project" box.
If i go back two versions on Photoshop it loads right away and is fine.

Hello! I'm not a photoshop pro, but used it a bunch in the past in highschool when doing some light graphic design.
im trying to help a photog friend of mine where she has one blurry (out of focus) photo of the subject in a certain pose, and then a bunch of other poses that are in-focus. so whats my best course of action. I tried the new AI photoshop sharpen but it literally does not do a damn thing. lmao. chatgpt does better with a prompt to sharpen.
but in general is there some tool or something thats known where i can provide context of the subject, and then sharpen the blurry subject with the provided context? appreciate it!
I'm attempting to make the 1st image look like the 2nd in terms of rendering with the end goal of screen printing on a shirt. What steps should i take to get there? These will be printed on black shirts so the image should be mainly white for the end result. I'll need to remove the background and give it the half tone look while not compromising detail. I think I'll likely need to make the camera that is in the shadow of the solar panel brighter and I'm not sure how to do that successfully without making it look strange. Any advice would be super helpful, thanks!
The latest update of photoshop has my app all laggy. Idk how to explain it better but I open a new template start drawing then if I insert an image, start drawing the screen keeps flashing and my drawing darkens, like the colors all change to a darker color and Idk what to do anymore. Has this happened to anyone before? Can you save me?
