New to android

I haven't really been on android since the note 5 and the s7. I just recently switched to android and I tried the 11 pro pixel and felt like it was so locked down, then switched to the samsung s26 ultra. I'm not a huge fan of samsung but unfortunately I live in the US and seems like I have limited choices. I was considering the nothing phone but am kinda worried if it only work on t mobile will the service be crap. Can anyone recommend another android. Best buy is limited. Also I only like the samsung for the ultra watch is honestly the only reason im still with this phone

What do you mean that you found the Pixel 11 Pro locked down? I'm a huge Pixel fan and just upgraded an 11 Pro and I love it. But to each their own. One Plus phones are pretty good phones as well. Have you looked at them?
