Can someone pick me a mid-range phone to replace my dying Samsung Galaxy A55?

Here's the stuff I pretty much NEED in a phone and what's not that important but nice

I want to be able to OEM unlock, I want to reuse my phone after support has ended

I also want long support, it doesn't have to be like 7 years, but I'd want it to be at least 3 or 4 years of OS updates, can also be more

I need an OS that's not super buggy like my Samsung

I want to play light games mostly 2D stuff like Earn to Die or other games, I don't need the top of the line specs, since ik not playing extreme stuff to handle it

What I want but don't need

I'd like good customization

I want there to be at least some kind of an ecosystem, because I like it when products can properly hook into each other since theyre the same brand

I prefer a small display

I want a good battery lasting at least a day, preferably more, but nowadays, they almost all have that, and needing more isn't really needed, think like the battery and SoT of my Galaxy A55 but a bit higher

What I don't really care about

The camera, look, it has to be usable, but I barely shoot, and if I shoot, it doesn't have to look super good, I don't need 200mp cameras or that stuff

Display refresh rate, 120hz, 144hz, 165hz I don't care on a phone, if I want high refresh rates, I'll just pick a different device

Bloatware, unless it's ads hard baked into the software, I can always just remove apps with adb or delete them if they're not a system app (edit I'm in the Netherlands)

Is it true what people say about the internet about how they're really bad, or are they actually solid phones? But one thing that's making me kind of avoid them is that last time I checked, they only do like 2 os updates, ofc I could be wrong but that's what I heard

I still have my 2024 Moto G stylus as a backup. It punch is well above its weight. The 2026 version is even better..

I have had no major issues the entire time I've owned the phone.

Yes, the one downside is it only gives security updates for 3 years.

And of course two OS updates in that time

There are some people who don't mind that, but I can understand why others do

Yeah I want a bit more support than that, I understand it's a mid-range and it needs to cut corners somewhere, but like, the first iPhone also got 2 OS updates, and there's almost 20 years between the 2

Forgot to mention I don't want a Samsung, I absolutely hate everything about their phones, I currently have an A55 and there's more bugs than working features

Dont know about it, OnePlus stopped. ... You cant have everything. If software support is most important, buy Samsung.

Yeah I'm probably gonna look used, the current market is a mess anyways, and private used sellers are the last place where prices are actually decent, and you can get way better phones for way less
