It's so odd, I'm getting it on repins relating to things like fairly run-of-the-mill fashion shoots

So I learned hack the other day on TikTok, and maybe I’m late to the game but here it is.

There doesn't seem to be anything on Pinterest these days except AI slop and ads!

I have been dealing with my pins comments being disabled on Pinterests with no viable reason as to why and it is so annoying. I review the guidelines, look at my created pin, and am dumbfounded to see why the pins comments have been disabled. This has happened multiple times, but I have contacted the Pinterest team two times. On the one occasion the comments got turned back on, but this time around it did not.

When I contacted the Pinterest team, I only receive the same generic and unhelpful response. That is, "we turn off comments based on our community guidelines", THAT IS NOT HELPFUL. I need them to tell me exactly WHY the comments have been disabled because, again, as far as I see I do not see any lines being crossed with my pin.

If they can give a reason on why a pin has been deactivated, or deleted, then they should also give a reason as to the comments being disabled.

Very annoying app that Pinterest has become.

I have a pinterest account that gets around 39k views a month at the moment. Is there a way to monetise that? It's currently just lifestyle pins. I know you can through links to a product storefront, but is there any other way?

Is anyone else having issues with their app not showing more ideas for all of their boards? Only 2 of my boards show up on my home page for more ideas and it’s frustrating. I’ve even deleted and redownloaded the app and it’s still having issues. It’s been like this for more than two weeks.

I don’t think I can add a photo of my page yet, but it’s the main page where it has “All, Pinterest board name, Pinterest board name, etc.” at the top right as you open the app.

I opened Pinterest and it shows “somethings a little off” on the homepage with “it looks like something went wrong. That’s ok, try refreshing the page.” But when I try to refresh, it still shows the same thing

Hi so bascially Im trying to report account that goes against rules multiple times. I reported few pins with nudity on it and 3/4 got deactivated, other with illegal goods restricted like guns and weed. The account has more pins to report but unfortunately there is ai and they dont check it properly. I reported whole account and it said they restricted it and now no matter what i report or how many times it says restricted bcs of illegal goods. What it actually means? I'm so sick of this account and I just want it gone, I'd report more pins but atp idk how many would ban the whole acc and even when i report nudity they just say restricted pin bcs of illegal goods. Can someone please help

I have seen a bunch of videos and tried to search many ways on how to view who is saving your pins and I know it is possible. I'm very very curious on who is saving my pins but nothing seems to work I'm not exactly sure what I did wrong but I took a screen shot on my mobile phone and a picture from my computer and I'm just confused. Also pretty new to Reddit so just realized idek how to share photos with posts lol 😭😭but basically on my phone when I go to the stats of my post blahblahblah I scroll down and nothing is there even though it says I have multiple saves and on my computer where it says the saves there is a lock next to it? Also don't know if this is related or not but for some reason I can't switch the comments on my post on? I'm sometimes they don't let minors have comments on but I'm not a minor and in my setting comments are allowed so uh genuinely confused also sorry for how bad my grammar is

There should be an "Auto-Refresh" toggle in the Pinterest app settings.

I was searching for haircut ideas last night and even though all of my AI switches are turned off, it was showing me generated images of similar people over and over and over again. I thought I was losing my mind. It was the same haircut copied and pasted onto a person that looked like a cartoon. I deleted my app because it was hurting my brain. Is the app broken? What is going on?

at first the tab was working perfectly fine, until i reopened the app and it randomly disappeared. all my other boards seem to be unaffected by this. i've had this issue before with pinterest flagging random words as "inappropriate", but i've tried changing the section names and the board title to no avail. i have no idea what could be flagging it. does anyone know how to fix this?

i’ve been posting aesthetic outfit inspo pics of myself on pinterest for years. and i was wondering why none of my recent posts have been getting likes like they used to/comments were turned off. turns out about 60% of my public pins i’ve created aren’t visible from other profiles and my account doesn’t come up in the search anymore. i tried putting in a request for unsuspending my account, but got an immediate response email saying there was nothing wrong with my account. is anyone else having this problem / know how to fix it because their online customer service has been useless.

Is there a realistic way to make money from Pinterest with minimal work?

I’m looking for a faceless method where I don’t have to shoot videos, cook food, or constantly create original photos/videos.

hello all! I had recently been seeing strange pins while looking around, and I wanted to bring this up because it was perplexing to come across at 12am. I also wonder how many others have been seeing this, as well.

As I was scrolling, I found some kind of niche fetish account that edits images of random women to have extreme full-body tattoos, large gauges, REALLY huge lips/long duck lips(???), completely black eyes(contacts or tattoos, unsure), and many face piercings. These images don't seem to have any sort of explicit sexual undertones (which explains why they're still up), but they are most definitely unsettling and Very uncanny. One or two that I found seemed AI generated, while the others appeared to be hand-edited of real images of women, which is concerning, and i wonder if any of the women from the original images will ever know that their images are being used for something such as this.

I had found that many of the pins seemed to stem from this account, but there is definitely more, and strangely enough, the accounts can't be accessed directly from a lot of the pins:

i’m an avid pinterest user as well as being someone who uploads video game photography! i’ve ran into an issue as of recently where some of my posts have been labeled as AI modified? as someone who is heavily anti AI, i’m quite frustrated and disgusted because i’d never use such slop for my photography. i don’t understand why or how these posts are being labeled as such and i was wondering if there was any way to appeal or remove that label.
