When I install big game repacks and especially RDR 2 (I don't have a lot of space so I don't archive repacks for big games, I've to always download them if I want to replay), I can do nothing on my PC other than browse for upwards of 2 to 3 hours even though I'm on NVME because Installation causes frequent CPU usage spikes and the PC freezes. With this method, I download/install in the background and just play when it's done.

P.S. Since a lot of people are asking, I used SteaMidra for this.

Been using LuaTools and liked it, but went digging around out of curiosity and found something worth sharing here.

There’s a site called malwaretips.com that scans/rates sites, and their page on lua.tools (tools.malwaretips.com/url-scan/lua.tools) gave it a 55/100 “Moderate Risk” score. Quote from the report:

“A Steam manifest generator for game cracking that has been flagged by users for distributing malware and stealing Discord or Instagram credentials.”

and further down:
“Several reports on Reddit and community forums indicate that using the site’s tools or PowerShell commands led to compromised social media accounts and the installation of background crypto miners.”

Also says the domain was only registered around 92 days before that report, no business registration or legal ownership behind it anywhere.

I couldn’t track down the actual reddit threads they’re referencing, so idk if this is legit or just an overcautious scanner being dramatic. But “Discord/Instagram creds + crypto miners + PowerShell” is oddly specific for a scan bot to just make up.

Curious if anyone here has run into anything like this, or has more context on where these reports are actually coming from. Not trying to trash the tool, genuinely just want more eyes on this before more people jump on it.

Hello I'm asking what would you say is the way i could determine whether a source is better then another, when obtaining manifest files for games.

I'm asking because many say one is overall better but it's just words, not a statistic or comparison out there which i can verify myself. (Also why i'm saying it's just words it's because i've yet to find an issue with one, or a shortcoming).

The sources in question currently are:

Simple as the title. I know that on steam you can only download zombies without the campaign and multiplayer, but is there a way to do that in Fitgirl or Dodi?

As the title says there seems to be a new site on the wild called "GOG Revived" and they seem to be featured along with gog-games (which is sadly shutting down in less than a week) on FMHY. Which is confusing because I don't think they are related at all.

And they seem to be under a group called Glitchify (which is apparently on the main piracy and pirated games megathreads, and I did a bit of digging into the domain registration and glitchify's domain is just 4 months old and gog-rev is a mere 15 days old at the time of this post. So how are these sites so quickly added to the megathreads and fmhy? And especially in fmhy the way they are presented is as if they are directly related to gog-games (which they are not).

I just want some context to this group at large and if they are a trusted group among the scene that I am unaware of because otherwise adding a site this quickly to the megathreads without vetting is a bit odd imo.

I've came across with steam not working (again) bcs of Lua, does anyone here has the same problem? Has anyone fixed it yet?

Hello everyone, I found a simple way to activate a game on the EA App using existing cracked files if you recently bought the game, so you do not have to download the entire game all over again. Disclaimer: This method only works on the EA App, and only if you officially own the game on your account. This is NOT a way to get free games.

Steps:

1. Go to the folder of the cracked game you want to activate.

2. Delete the main executable (.exe) file of the game.

3. Delete crack-related .dll files like "Its me origin" and "dbdata".

4. Rename the cracked game folder so it matches the exact official game name on the EA App.

5. Open the EA App, start downloading the game, and set the download installation path directly to your existing cracked game folder (Example: D:\Dragon Age Inquisition).

   Note: - If your cracked copy is an older version, the launcher will only download the missing update files. - If your cracked copy is already updated to the latest version, you might only need to download around 1 GB or less depending on the missing official files. I hope this helps anyone with capped internet or limited data quotas who struggles with downloading massive files again.

I created a secondary Steam account to download games using SteaMidra because I want to keep my main account safe from bans. The issue is that after using the tool, the games become available to download on both my secondary and primary accounts on the same PC.

How can I isolate SteaMidra so it downloads games strictly on the secondary account without affecting or showing up on my main account?

hello i downloaded call of duty black ops 3 from steamrip which site i always use and trusted, but after downloading and attempting to open the game steam opens with this error, i have disabled every anti virus and made sure that no file is missing but still keeps same error, i even tried to add the pirated game on steam by using "add a game" option buy when using that a new error appears with "steam must be open to launch this game" even tho clearly its open, how can i fix this please?
