I bought this a while back at a reptile expo for my enclosure and on the little tags it said fern… I’m obviously killing it so if anyone could direct to species or care instructions that would be helpful! It’s very pretty when it’s green so I’d like to keep it around, thank you!

Is this a ponytail palm ? If so, why doesn't it have a bulbus bottom ?

I’m in the Central Okanagan/ Shuswap area of British Columbia Canada, what is this plant and where can I possibly find more of it? I like the deep red that it is and was considering drying it and using it as decor.
