Lower Bleph 12 month outcome - waste of time and money!

Post image

Sharing this because sometimes we see amazing outcomes and sometimes we see botched outcomes. Please be aware that sometimes you can just end up with 'oh, I shouldn't have bothered'.

I had lower bleph 12 months ago and the result was barely noticeable. My consultant said he had been conservative with how much skin he removed so at the 6 month mark I had a revision where more skin was removed. 6 months after that (so 12 months in total) I still see a visible bag, although I can see that the skin is less wrinkly. In some lights it looks ok, in other lights it still looks awful.

I have been advised that the issue is that I actually needed a fat graft rather than just a revision where more skin removed, so it wasn't an effective revision.

It wasn't an easy 12 months - feelings of being disappointed and embarrassed, and the stress of having a second operation. More time off work. More time out of gym. And overall when I take into account the costs and energy involved, I just don't think it was worth it.

So, manage your expectations! I am grateful it isn't botched, but overall it's just very disappointing.

My experience with Ukrainian plastic surgeon Volodymyr Sazhiyenko (Володимир Сажієнко / Владимир Сажиенко): UAH 105,000 surgery booking payment not refunded

I am sharing my personal experience with Ukrainian plastic surgeon Volodymyr Sazhiyenko, full name Volodymyr Viacheslavovych Sazhiyenko. His name is also written as Володимир В’ячеславович Сажієнко in Ukrainian and Владимир Вячеславович Сажиенко in Russian.

My plastic surgery was scheduled for 3 September 2026 with Dr. Sazhiyenko at Face Up Clinic in Ukraine.

I paid UAH 2,500 for the consultation. I was then asked to transfer 30% of the surgery price to reserve the date. I transferred UAH 105,000 using the payment details provided to me.

I was not given or asked to sign a written agreement explaining the cancellation policy, refund conditions, or stating that the entire payment was a non-refundable fee for reserving the surgeon’s time.
Approximately one week before the procedure, I repeatedly requested the list of required pre-operative tests. I received it shortly before the weekend, although I was due to fly on Monday.

An ECG result led me to consult a cardiologist. Following that consultation, I was advised not to proceed with general anaesthesia or surgery until further cardiac investigations had been completed.

I informed Dr. Volodymyr Sazhiyenko and requested the return of my UAH 105,000 payment. He replied:
“No one took a deposit from you. You paid for services related to reserving my time. Please send the cardiologist’s report.”

I sent the medical report immediately and repeated my refund request. I received no further response from the surgeon.
After I contacted Face Up Clinic, I received the following message:
“Dr. Sazhiyenko’s lawyer will contact you.”

As of 1 September 2026, the UAH 105,000 has not been returned. I have retained the payment confirmation, correspondence, medical report, and the clinic’s response. If the money is returned or the situation otherwise changes, I will update this post publicly.

I am describing only what happened to me and am not making claims about other patients or Dr. Sazhiyenko’s surgical abilities.

Has anyone had a similar experience with Volodymyr Sazhiyenko / Vladimir Sazhiyenko / Sazhienko, Face Up Clinic, or a non-refundable surgery booking payment in Ukraine?

Edit: removed personal info

Do you think it looks like an improvement? Does it look natural and balanced? Anything you particularly like or think could have been done differently?
Please be honest — I can take it 😅

Looking for a Breast Specialist - world

Can someone recommend a surgeon who specialises in breasts? I'd need: breast lift with a fat graft and a mesh bra. Thanks a lot ♥️

I don't care about the price or where it would be, just the results

Is it possible to fix this? I had a surgeon look at it and told me that the issue with “fixing it” is that it will most likely leave it scar

Finally getting my boobs done! Question for those with experience...

How bad are the first few days of recovery? I know there will be pain and soreness. My partner will be off work for the first couple days to support me.

So, how would you describe the after surgery?

I am going in for an arm lift in the next couple months and would love to see your results! Also, would you have any advice for me? When could you start using your arms normally again? When could you drive on your own?

I really don’t like my eye area, I’ve been looking into canthoplasty/pexy or infraorbital implants but I’d like more thoughts. Thanks

How was your experience when you asked your surgeon for a revision?

Let's say you weren't happy cosmetically.

  1. What type of surgery was it?
  2. How did you ask?
  3. How did your surgeon respond?
  4. How much did you have to pay again if you went with your original surgeon?
  5. What city does your surgeon operate in?
  6. Any tips on approaching revision to a surgeon, when most have super large egos tied to their work?

Ethnic rhinoplasty in Melbourne

Hi all, has anyone of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern/South Asian descent here had a rhinoplasty done in Melbourne? I'd love to know if there are any surgeons that are preferred, or should be avoided, for this procedure. Ideally I'd achieve a noticeable difference without looking like a different ethnicity. Thanks :)

Under eye hollowing

Can anyone recommend any actions to help reduct my under eye hollowing? Isn't isn't new, had this anatomy since I was a kid. I don't mind them much at rest, but when I smile I can't stand my undereyes and outer portion of my cheek where there's a slight divot in the skin. I'm sure there isn't one product but any recs would be helpful. Preferably non surgical, but I'm open to options

Do I actually need liposuction after cryolipolysis?

Thumbnail gallery
Upvotes

I had cryolipolysis (fat freezing) on my abdomen twice, but the results were not what I expected.
The company that performed the treatment offered to pay for liposuction to correct the area, and the procedure would be at no cost to me.
Before going through with surgery, I’d like some outside opinions. Based on the photos, does this look like something that actually needs liposuction, or could it improve with weight loss and exercise?
The area feels soft and I can pinch/fold it. I’m also wondering whether this could be residual fat, loose skin, or possibly paradoxical adipose hyperplasia (PAH) after cryolipolysis.
Would you personally consider liposuction for this, or does surgery seem unnecessary based on the appearance?

I am a 25 year old female (5’9, 155 pounds) who has a breast reduction scheduled on September 17. I’ve been zyning for about 3 years. I quit cold turkey on August 17 in preparation for surgery, but messed up this weekend and had 5 3mg zyns.

Am I screwed?

How dangerous is lip filler?

I’ve had a rhinoplasty and I know I signed away on a lot of side effects (and there are serious side effects like infection). But how serious are the side effects of occlusion and necrosis with lip filler? If I go to a NP in Los Angeles or NYC that trained with a surgeon, are these risks kind of laughable at that point? I just get worried when I have to sign away on occlusions and necrosis type of warnings.

One plastic surgeon recommend full face fat grafting and that I should wait for surgery the other a brow lift and mini smas lift. Now I’m not sure what to do. I’m very self conscious about it he folds especially on my right side and would like to treat myself as I’m turning 40 in a couple months! 😬

What do y’all think? Also are there good questions to ask to make sure I’m going to the right doctor? And ignore my pimple I’m stressed lol

i get sunken eyes instead

This is my only concern so far and i think that fat repositioning might help?? but im not so sure yet about what exactly i want to do.

the only thing that scares me is that ive see countless results where people get hollow and veiny under eyes , and i feel like i might be a victim of this effect because of my facial structure and the way that my eyebags look.

last slide is an example of what im talking about. this is not a result i would want. is there anything specific i should ask for or look into? is this an appropriate concern? any tips? thoughts?

breast enlargement surgery Thailand

From UK - really want to get breast enlargement surgery and planning on spending 3 months in Thailand for travels -- anyone had any experiences with surgeons there? It is much more affordable compared to the UK but obviously very keen to do a lot a lot of research before as really don't want to end up getting botched :/ Looking at Turkey too (clineca looks good) but some mixed reviews... I could just save up and fork out for London surgery but £7000+ is so much money cry
