I was playing fine on my PS4 Slim until a few weeks ago. I noticed my loading speed dropped drastically; it's normally around 300 Mbps. I searched on Google for a solution and have tried practically everything. I've changed the DNS settings and other things on my router, they even replaced the router, and they cleaned and replaced the thermal paste on my PS4. I don't know what else to do to fix the problem. Does anyone know how to solve it?

My 1-month old PS5 with a total of 64 hrs played, turned off mid-game, and now refuses to turn on, I have tried the usual fix on google. Apparently, this is a quite common issue, and sony not fixing this in 6 years is really shameful. Is there any way to fix this or should I claim warranty

for the love of bloody god can anyone help me out? i brought a physical copy and had to get it replaced yesterday as it wouldn’t download but now it is yet again now downloading but definitely no scratches. i managed to make it halfway on the data disc before it crashes and gives me an error. I’ve tried googling what i could do and nothing seems to help, ive turned off the wi-fi while downloading the game to stop internet updates as apparently that can interfere with the downloading process. does anyone have any weird tips/tricks that could help? im tired and desperate lol 🫶🏼

I'd like to share my experience with one of my two PS4s. Even though I did basic maintenance—cleaning the dust and replacing the thermal paste (with a cheap one)—it was still making a jet engine noise. Today I decided to open it up again and replace the thermal paste with a better one that came with a PC CPU cooler I bought, and it worked well on my other PS4. I also replaced the thermal pads. The truth is, the original ones Sony provides are disappointing. I cut 16 pieces to fit the memory chips, which is what this PS4 model, the CUH 1116, needs. Between the new paste and the new, albeit cheap, pads, I've tried Monster Hunter World, and so far the console seems to be running smoothly. Hope It could be help to someone.

How concerned should I be about a single bent blade on the heatsink in my PS5 Slim Disc?

I bought this from the original owner who claimed they never took it apart (and based on how dirty it was I believed them).

Is it possible a blade could be bent from the factory?

PS5 is constantly disconnecting from wired LAN

Solutions attempted:

1. Changing Ethernet cables Cat5-Cat8, no success

2. Updating system software, already up-to-date

3. Using Gigabit Network Switch, no change

4. Trying different ports on Network Switch, no change

5. Using paper "stopper" to prevent small movements on Ethernet cable, no change

6. Changing from Automatic DNS to Cloudflare, no success

7. Changing from Automatic DNS to Google, no success

8. Forgetting all networks and manually setting up Wired LAN connection, no success

9. Setting up large fan behind PS5 to prevent overheating, no change

At this point, do I just need to buy a new PS5? Would a repair shop be able to diagnose the problem, and would it even be worth the price of said repairs?

I decided I wanted to get on PS again since im on a school break and i wanted play my ps on my desktop so the only thing to do is to log into the ps remote play app. I tried the first time it said my password was wrong so i tried a couple more times until i got it right. Then it was all good. A couple days ahead i decided that i wanted to link my discord to my psn account so i did, i scanned the qr code from the ps and its all good too. Then around 3 days after linking my psn account to my discord suddenly i got logged out of my account? I couldnt even log in or try to reset my password as it said that my account needed to be recovered. And at first when i clicked the link given from sony it said that the server failed to connect to the website or something then a new link that was provided by sony itself said that my account has been locked for 24 hours?? I dont get it. If they were to lock my account why didnt they do it on the day that i took a couple tries to log in? Why did they do it today?? Im so pissed brahh😭 pls i need explaination

Ive been logged out from my main account since I changed password and dont have access to my old phone number to get through 2 step verification ive gone onto the support site on my alt account to try talk to a live agent but it just asks me to use the country selector and no matter what country I pick it just keeps asking me to pick again if anyone knows a way around this please let me know

For context my account was made in the uk but im not living there anymore and so calling a uk number won't work and I know the live agent would need to be one from the uk through testing with other accounts

So let me explain first, I want to recover my old PlayStation Account but i lost my E-Mail connected to it thanks to a hacker 2 years ago (I tried recover my email but when its gone its gone). I talked with the support and they asked classic questions for this problem. Last Payment method, serial number of my console, last products bought and the order number. I Told i dont know the Payment method because its the card of my father (Private problems) as i got my Ps4, back in 2017 i was around 10 btw, I dont know the serial number because i sold my ps4 few years ago and thats also the time i last played on it. I only knew i played much Ghost recon wildlands, and war thunder. And the first game ever registred on this account was Gran Tourismo Sport because i got the Ps4 GT edition. Then he asked me for an order Number. I told him i cant look it up because I lost my Email, thats why i am here in this support.... but okay he just asked no problem. He asked me agian i told him agian that i cant look it up. then he just said i cant help you with that and closed the chat. Im sorry but what is this? Since I lost my E-mail i recovered many accounts, there was always a way but in PlayStation support you close the chat after 4 questions and 2 of them are the same? Can someone please help me get my account back? :(

so, I've done all the things I went to the website, I cycled the console, reset the controllers, checked for updates, I haven't been able to connect to any other console due to only having Xboxes otherwise my laptop couldn't find the dualshock4 in Bluetooth and I attempted to usb connect to laptop and ps4 console with 0 recognition.

The 2 DualShock 4 controllers will not take a charge. one I bought about 2 years ago and the other is a refurbished one that just arrived by mail in a tiny cardboard box with 0 packing -_- thanks Walmart.

Neither will take a charge, one now shows a red glow when plugged in to an outlet while the refurb glows no light when plugged in to an outlet

With the original DualShock 4 the battery was "low" so it was plugged into console to charge but did not take the charge. eventually the controller was "disconnected" due to low battery.

the console was then cycling the "low" battery and the "disconnected" over and over without stop

the DualShock 4 could be turned back on for a moment after pressing the ps4 button on the DualShock, only to be "low" and then "disconnected" within seconds.

using this method I checked for updates and looked at Bluetoothed devices and saw no issues and was afraid to toggle Bluetooth to wired controller connection incase the ports have failed.

I am unable to update controllers due to usb incompatibility with my laptop, maybe the wired usb connection can't transfer the data but it wouldn't even show a charge. I don't have it in me to track down every cord in the house but I will eventually.

the refurbished DualShock 4 is not taking a charge either. I reset both controllers using the reset button on the bottom but I have no way of knowing if it actually worked. I did get the controller to Bluetooth connect with the ps4 console but it is now doing the same thing the original DualShock 4 is doing with less glowing.

I am going to use some compressed air and see if the ports can be helped and but I had the controllers plugged in and they aren't acknowledging the lower supply through glowing.

I could be playing a game and mid game/match the PS5 turns off randomly and won't turn back on unless I unplug and plug it back in. Tried to put it in safe mode but controller won't connect either during safe mode.

I have an old account which my dad made for me and since time has passed, he lost access to that email due to life happening. I know the email, I am logged into the account, but I do not know the password to the email or the PlayStation account. I also know the email but can't do anything with that. Does anybody have any suggestions for me at all? If it's important, I can provide the email as well.

i’m asking anyone that has been locked out or lost their psn account i have all my info only thing bad is my house burnt down and i only have the serial numbers to my ps4 from 2020 after my house burnt down and my ps5 from 2022 but the rest of the info that is important i have i just don’t have my original playstation cause it burnt with my house and family belongings and i also have my requested data to my account as well just wanted to know if this is good or ok i honestly think im screwed but i wanted to ask anyways
