I’m interested in running stomping tantrum on a giga impact set, thinking that might make it worth trying, but I’m having trouble finding a clear answer on this. The move description for stomping tantrum says “This move’s power is doubled if the user couldn’t act or its move missed or failed on the previous turn.” So I thought pretty clearly the turn where you’re forced to recharge would count as “user couldn’t act,” but I’m getting mixed answers looking online? Does anybody know how this interaction works? Does stomping tantrum double here?

Do yall think dynamaxing a mega pokemon would be possible, and if so would they keep their Gmax forms or is it a different pokemon now?

Like will we ever get Gmax Mega Zard Y, or would it be just limited to dynamax zard y in this hypothetical?

Ofcourse at first we'll be limited to one gimmick per battle most likely, but maybe in a regulation far in the future.

I just played against someone who was running big 6 and I had a pretty good decisive victory and that made me kinda happy because I didn't know the layout of it except for the mons

For my snow team I’m not sure which to use for a sixth. Preferably something that can counter or resist the weaknesses of fairy types and ice types, or just something that can work really well in the snow in general. Bonus points if it’s cute!!! 🩵🫶💙

What the best option to pick?

Honestly in the next regulation this month, as part of the 26 new Pokemon [not counting Mega Chomp/Absol/Lucario], I kinda hope Pokemon like Cherrim, Dhelmise and possibly even Wailord are introduced.

I know its a very slim chance, but I reckon that those three mons in particular could be fun to use, especially Cherrim as it introduces a new 'aspect' to Sun teams with its ability.

Wailord because who doesn't love the beeg whale [and I really want to see Wailord's size in game, and how much the Teeny size affects him], and Dhelmise could be an interesting utility / TR mon.

I know Rillaboom being introduced probably leads to the other Terrain setters coming in, but I'm kinda not looking forward to Indeedee, cause Psyspam sounds horrid to deal with.

And this might be an extremely hot take, but I honestly wouldn't mind either Amoongus or Ferrothorn being added into the game in this upcoming regulation, but I'm fully prepared to be downvoted from this take.,

I’ve recently discovered the beauty of shiny amoonguss and have began my hunt for it. I know it’s not currently playable in champions rn but what are the odds they add him in sometime in the near future with regulation m-b or shortly after?

I built this Perish Trap team a month ago or so when I was on holiday and I’ve been having a lot of fun with it, but it’s missing something. It performs decently well but I feel like everyone is just a tad bit too slow without tailwind, and not bulky enough to keep taking hits. I’m thinking I either need a trick room option, or maybe some more ‘meta’ Pokémon.

The goal is not necessarily to always run perish trap. I often enough don’t bring Gengar and Primarina for perish trap. But I do like the option as I enjoy positioning, which I noticed with my mega Chesnaught team.

I’d love to have some opinions for improvements and maybe make the final push to master ball with this team before reg m-c starts

Psychic terrain is cooking Sneasler (secret Kingambit upscale)

I just do not have the strength to go through this game anymore this the highest elo I've reached and knowing my luck if I tried to play anymore I'll end up back in 200k placement. This game is just a pain to my mental. Yess I enjoyed it but like 1 flinch 2 missed attack and one crit in 4 rounds was just I just don't trust my luck anymore soo ig I'll stop my crusade till rillaboom comes in.

First game, my opponent used Blizzard without snow and hit both of my mons and I lose as a result. I thought, no big deal, I just didn't expect them to have the balls to do that there. Next game, poison touch Sneazler posioned 3 of my mons with 2 dire claws and 1 fake out and I lose narrowly as they had sash on Sneazler. I knew I could've played better but I was pissed at this point. Next game, the fucking Pelipper hit 2 confusions in a row from Hurricane and I just forfeited and closed the game after Araquanid hurt itself twice in a row.

Looking for players to join me on Pokemon champions.

I used a variation of wolfe's mega steelix team, but used mega garchomp, araquanid and scizor instead of steelix, rotom and sneasler! (team on the right!) and i went from UB2 to here (and lost the next match lmaoo)

1st season cooked up my own Mega Aggron team and made to masterball. I'm mot special I'm proof we can make our own teams stick with them fine tune them and win against all teams. I've made a lot of mistakes andearned from most of those mistakes. The copy and paste clowns can't do that, be bold and be brave make your teams.

Also here is my team that got me to masterball.

For mega Absol, I get that they're both stab and I get that they both benefit from sharpness. But type coverage wise, running both dark and ghost on the same Pokémon is something I never understood. I know dark can hit normal, but is that really essential?
