Don't know how else to explain this, and unfortunately I don't have a capture of it. But I was cooking up some curry on Route 6, since that's the easiest camp spot for me to get the Charizard rank solo, when what I can only describe as a "mega" curry was created, lol.

Well anyways, I guess I timed things perfectly and got a unique animation like in this post, but when the animation for my character showed up his mouth was twitching instead of the usual chomps that come with the Charizard class curries. Not sure if anybody has had this too or if my guy just had a Shokugeki No Soma moment?

TLDR; Made my first perfect curry and it nearly killed my trainer character (Charmeleon was fine though 😄)

Ended up really happy with my final team! Alcremie is my favorite Pokemon (currently have 7 of them) so that made the game all that much..... sweeter (🥁) If it is hard to see, my main Alcremie was rainbow swirl with the love sweet for a pride inspired look.

Centiskorch and Cursola were real MVPs. Especially since I may have overdone my Cursola for the final match by giving it rock and water moves, and like all the dynamax candy I had collected only to one shot Charizardeven being one level lower than it.

Shout out to my 7th team member as well, Galarian Rapidash. For a while it was going to be him or Falinks at the end, and I decided fighting might be better to have just in case. Though Rapidash did some great work throughout the game!

I'm still having trouble identifying legit vs modded pokemon, so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I’m returning to pokemon sword for the first time since release year and wanted to use Mr. Rime on my team, only to find out that galarian Mr mime can only be obtained very late into the game. Is there any way I can get like a mime jr or anything earlier in the game so I can use him most of my playthrough?

Came back to replay SWSH to living dex the game. It's been fun! But... I mean... man ahhaha. I don't think I've played many other games with AI coded this incompetently. I can understand not wanting to have them max their mons out and bring perfect comps to every raid, that's understandable, that should require humans to do. Entirely reasonable and expected.

That said. Why do AI bring half-evolved Pokemon? Why don't they at least avoid types that are weak to the raid mon's main typing? You're telling me a supposed 'pokemon trainer' looks into the raid den, sees Gyarados, and goes "Oh, perfect! My Centiskorch is gonna go crazy in there!"?

Why does the raid pokemon get 4-5 turns per turn sometimes? I know the gmax move is separate from their actual move, that's fine, but many pokemon just start spam clicking normal moves one after another. Was this outsourced to the monkey exhibit at the local zoo, with a $40 budget for typewriters?

Why aren't you allowed to run when it's just AI? They're not real people, and having to either wait to lose or reset the game because Timmy Thompson picked MAGIKARP into GALVANTULA is just stupid.

Why aren't you allowed to punch through the area of the health bar where a shield WILL be before they actually get the shield? If the AI were smart I don't think I'd care about this last point, but being unable to brute force parts of the health bar means you're forced to contend with the AI's stupidity for way longer than you'd want to. It's torture!

These are minor gripes I'm aware, but just how poorly this was programmed leads me to believe it was intentional. Just wanted to vent lol. Offline raids blow. I don't even wanna get into dynamax adventures, whole other can of worms.
