Looks like you fell for some misinformation. During the last shutdown, Trump forbade Republicans from compromising with Democrats to reopen the government

There's video evidence of democrat leadership telling the morons on your side to not compromise and make the American people hurt, then the republicans will have to cave. That's fu@ked up

Yeah I did a search, I couldn't find any evidence of them encouraging other Democrats not to compromise and that they didn't care whether or not the American people would hurt because of the shutdown

But I could find a clip of Trump saying that (see the video I attached earlier)
