For Hire Python / ML / Data Science Beginner — Available for Remote Freelance Work | $15/hr
Hello everyone,
I'm currently trying to get into the Data Science / Machine Learning field, but I also don't want to just sit around waiting for my first opportunity.
I'd like to start making some money through remote/online work, even if I have to start small. I'd like to contribute something to my family while also getting real-world experience.
I'm still early in my career, so I'm not going to pretend I'm an experienced ML engineer. I'm mainly looking for smaller tasks where I can be useful, learn, and prove myself.
What I can currently work with:
- Python
- Machine Learning
- Data cleaning and preprocessing
- Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)
- Feature engineering
- Model training and evaluation
- Scikit-learn
- Pandas
- NumPy
- XGBoost
- SQL
- Git/GitHub
- General programming and problem solving
- Some ML model deployment experience
- Currently learning backend development and FastAPI
I've built end-to-end ML projects independently, and I'm comfortable picking up new technologies when needed. I'm also a pretty fast learner and don't mind researching/documenting things myself before asking for help.
What I'm looking for:
- Python scripting/automation
- Data cleaning or analysis
- Small ML/data science tasks
- Data preprocessing
- Helping with existing ML projects
- Backend/API tasks
- Research/technical assistance
- Junior/assistant-type work
- Or other technical work where my current skills could be useful
I'm also very open to working under someone more experienced. If you're already doing ML/data freelance work and need someone to help with smaller tasks, I'd be interested in that as well.
I'm not expecting a high-paying position right away. I'm happy to start with smaller projects, learn how professional work is actually done, and build from there.
Rate: $15/hr, although I'm also open to discussing a fixed price for smaller projects depending on the scope.
I'm based in South Asia, so I'm specifically looking for remote work.
If you have a small project, need some technical help, or think my skills could be useful for something you're working on, feel free to comment or DM me.
Thanks!

maybe check upwork and toptal type sites, and do a couple tiny fixed price gigs first as proof, then raise your rate slowly. everything’s a grind now, finding real work is just hard
