Other On Day 19 of Desmoxan (Nic free since day 5)
I've been vaping since 2018-2019. Started off with salt nic vapes (Suorin drop was my first device), then disposable vapes became popular with puff bars, escobars, geekbars etc. I vaped pretty heavily and as a result, practically everything i do on a daily basis can be associated with vaping. Driving, eating, watching tv/gaming, chores, hell i even vaped while taking a shit lol. It got to the point where I was sneaking hits while at the movie theaters or going to the bathroom in a restaurant just to vape. It was bad to say the least. Deep down I knew I would have to quit someday but nicotine had a chokehold on me.
2 years ago, I went on a 7 day cruise and did not bring any vapes as a test to see if I can quit cold turkey and I figured if my withdrawals symptoms or mental health worsened, i'd just smoke a cigaratte or a tobacco cigar sold on the ship (which I didn't). I fought the withdrawals and negative feelings for the duration of the cruise but when I got back, I devoured my vape lol.
My cousin recommended Desmoxan since it helped him quit nicotine and his nicotine usage was similar to mine. I can't thank him enough!
I'm on day 19 of the treatment and there's only been a handful of days where I took the max amount of tablets recommended for that day (ex: 6 tablets max on days 1-3, 5 max on days 4-12 etc) but i never exceeded the daily limit and I was either on time in spreading them out between the recommended hours or i took them slightly too late (ex. taking a tablet 3 hours after taking the previous one when it says to take it every 2 hours on day 1-3 etc). Despite my irregular usage of the treatment, this stuff is still very effective. By day 3, hitting the vape didnt feel right. It actually felt kind of bad. On day 4, I almost couldnt stand it and was amazed by the treatment. I feel like i'm not craving nicotine anymore but i'm craving the flavor or the action of vaping itself. Either way, this stuff is a godsend. I can't imagine going 2 weeks nicotine free cold turkey. My lungs feel better and I'm not getting weird feelings in my chest anymore. Just feel healthier all around tbh. I did get some headaches randomly between day 5 and day 9 but everything has been smooth since then.
Has anyone used a 0% vape to help them either during the treatment or after day 25? I think it would help me but i'd like some feedback from desmoxan users.
Sorry for the lengthy post but I wanted to give my input to help anyone out! Feel free to comment any questions and I will get back to you as soon as i can! We're all in this together!
TL;DR: Desmoxan has been working great for me (a heavy vaper) and I'm currently on day 19 while being nic free since day 5. I highly recommend it but first check with a doctor to make sure it won't negatively affect you, especially if you have any pre existing conditions.
