Hello friends! Yesterday I got to do one of my favorite yearly traditions - The Minnesota State Fair. I moved to MN several years ago now, and I haven't missed a year since. I usually make at least two trips and try to spice up what I do every year. I did my first visit of the year yesterday and something about fair season is hitting just right this year! I'm in the mood to send some chatty postcards about some of the things I've gotten to see and do at the fair over the years :-)

If you're interested, I think I have capacity to send out between 5 and 10 postcards right now :-) Please fill out this form (full - thank you!) and I'll send you a postcard about the fair! I'll do my best to monitor the form / this post and close the form when I have enough. (Full disclosure, the postcards might not necessarily be overtly MN State Fair branded, but I'm going to try to match the image on the card to my story).

Still offloading postcards, this time from places that I visited for work reasons. I picked them up while at the airport or visiting universities, but I just never had the energy to send them.

These aren’t from NYC but from places like Connecticut, Massachusetts, North Carolina and Pennsylvania. If you wanted, I can tell you about the visit, but it might be extra funny if it turns out you live in one of these states.

In exchange, I thought it’d be funny to get a postcard of similar nature — like a Kentucky postcard but you’re from Texas — but anything floats my boat.

I went back to my local bookstore and couldn't stay away from the vintage postcards (the seller says his mom had 60,000!).

To claim a random one, let my know your favorite vintage thing (whatever that means to you) in the comments! And just an fyi - as you might expect with older postcards, they're not necessarily in the best shape (and some have marks from being mounted in an album, etc.).

Another round of offloading, this time at least six postcards I got from art museums. Well, one of them is more like a toy museum, but there is an art element to that.

Think paintings, poster art and panoramas. Those are in my stack, but open to exchanging postcards that aren’t necessarily related to museums.
