Deadlocked / Gladiator It's a tie! Robot Zoidberg and Robot Bender win. Whats the most Magenta Ratchet Deadlocked enemy?
Man I was up till 2 to make this piece work! I hope yall like it. The only thing I could think about was that the laser beak looked a bit like Zoidberg, and this was amazing.
The plumber is hiding! time to unplug him

Ratchet & Clank (2002) There is a hole in the ground in Metropolis.
You can see through but depending on the angle the ground texture hides it. There's a lot of holes in these games but this one is just there on the main path.

General Best experience to play them for the first time?
I played ratchet and clank up your aresnal years ago on my PS2 but have very fond memories of it now, and I’m planning to play all of them from start to finish. Particularly the ones you guys recommend that I should play or skip. I have PS Premium on my PS5 and saw that I am available to download them but was deciding if I should purchase the collection on my PS3 instead for the first three first games (always liked physical media). What do you guys think is the best way to begin this amazing franchise. Loved Rift apart btw 10/10 for me, the best ps5 exclusive*

Ratchet & Clank (2002) Ratchet 1 metal detector
You get this on Batalia for stopping the invasion with a turret, and it's always felt out of place to me. Like why even is this an optional mission? This feels like a last minute addition and it would be fine if it actually carried over to NG+, but for some reason it doesn't and you have to get it again which is definitely not worth it. And for some reason they put metal detector-able locations on the planets before Batalia too, which doesn't make sense if it's not gonna be there on first visit in NG+. Also fun fact: On my last playthrough I revisited every level and found that there are *exactly* 2 metal detector-able locations on every planet. The weirdest locations are the snagglebeast arena in Umbris, and the Giant Clank part in Veldin. Yeah these locations are pretty cool but insane, they don't even give more bolts or anything and the only way you're gonna find them are if you are specifically searching for them. Still kinda fun though, I just wish it was worth all the effort to actually use

Deadlocked / Gladiator Robot Swarmers, WIN AGAIN!? What's the Reddest Ratchet Deadlocked enemy?
Firstly, oh my god, I forgot to put the question in the chat! I am so sorry! Either that, or you guys really love the Robot Swarmers, haha. I like these guys, but I am surprised that they walk around like a dinosaur.
Skrunch's sister and the Plumber hide tomorrow; keep your eyes peeled!

Size Matters I've mastered Size Matters!
I've finally finished getting all the main achievements for the PS2 games on RetroAchievements, a really cool site that lets you, as the name implies, unlock achievements for retro games. It's given me another reason to run through some of my favorite childhood games, and playing through the whole PS2 pentalogy a few more times each has given me an even deeper appreciation for them. And despite playing through them all a good 4-6 times in the past year, I still want to go back and play them again, they're just that fun.
That said... I think I'll shelf Size Matters for a good while, even if I do full replay of the other PS2 games. This is a game I've always had a fondness for since I was a kid. Just being able to play a Ratchet & Clank game on the school bus was mindblowing to me at the time. As an adult, and having recently replayed the whole series... it was a bit of a frustrating experience as well as a nostalgia trip. I didn't have too much trouble with the bolt economy this time around and it wasn't too much of a struggle to get through areas, but the pacing of the game is frustrating after playing Up Your Arsenal which felt so streamlined (albeit barebones). That game lacked the extra content I wanted but you were never too far off from the fun core gameplay. And the core gameplay, the shooting, wasn't as satisfying here and especially after playing Deadlocked, it feels extremely unsatisfying.
Basically, everything in this game is a worse version of the rest of the series, and in many cases it has the absolute worst iteration of any given aspect of a Ratchet game. That being said, it's still a Ratchet game, and that does count for something. I still felt excited to come home and play through it again, even after multiple playthroughs, even if it was mostly just to get those last few achievements by Challenge Mode 2. There's honestly so few games like Ratchet, so I'm a little sad I've pretty much 100% completed them all on the PS2.
If anyone is looking to replay this one and go achievement hunting, I'd recommend it overall, the set on RA really isn't too bad and the new game plus playthroughs go by pretty quick since the game is pretty short. There's a few frustrating moments to be sure, but I found it worth suffering through. In the end, I give this game a Snowbeast Award / 10.

Collections Ratchet & Clank
Now all that's left is to collect the PS3, PS4, and PS5 discs🔥
It's not easy to find PS2 and PS3 discs, but it's worth it.

About 2 weeks later, they put an event up for an optional Rachet. Idk if i really did it butttttttt even if it wasnt mee. IM SUPER STOKED. A gift from my dad was 2016 we got a ps5 and the first game we bought was rift apart. I then emulated the og and up your arsenal. I love rachet and clank. Deadlocked / Gladiator i died a lot of times in one of the challenges(probably more than 200 times) can it cause bugs? Spoiler
im talking about the hoverbike challenge in the planet sarathos(the second one), i had to restart the level/died more than 200 times i think, this is absurd right? that i died so many times(i just know that i played this challenge for about 40 minutes)

Into the Nexus / Nexus I platinumed Ratchet and Clank: into the Nexus
I recently platinumed Ratchet and Clank: into the Nexus and I had a lot of fun playing the game.
I thought the story was interesting and it was nice to see Talwyn again but I do wish the game was a little longer and I thought it was weird that you can only have 1 save file.
Getting the platinum was easy although it did take a while to get due to how many bolts you need to purchase the final armor as well as upgrade every weapon.
I’ve now beaten every PS3 Ratchet and Clank game and I’m excited to start the PS4/PS5 games soon.

Collections Took an extra month for Clank to arrive but at least they are together now
They both took a year to come in but worth the wait. It's great to finally see them together, a lot bigger size wise then I thought too.

Ratchet and Clank (2016) Finally got platinum in the 2016 remake after 4 years of first playing it. This is my second Platinum ever
Death by Disco was the last trophy that earned me the platinum, the hardest trophy to earn was the one where you had to get gold in the hoverboad race in under 1:35
