So I've been cycling for a while now and gusto ko tlga pumalit from my 4 year old mtb to a gravel. After asking and researching, I decided to save up for the Kespor Mclaren. But I'm only a college student so the 20k price goal is really hard to reach. Are there any gravel bikes I could get for cheaper? TYIA!

May bike kase ako na plano ko iuwi sa probinsya kase matagal na hindi na nagagamit sa Manila, need ko umuwi ng Mindoro so need ko kalasin ung bike para sa byahe.

Nakalas ko na ung gulong pero sa kadena as per YT tutorials nakikita ko almost may link, ung mga wala man ay need ng specific tools, kaso wala akong nung tool, need nalang ba dalhin sa talyer? or may alam kayo na way?

hi all! mostly pansin ko ang normal hinanakit natin mga cyclist / commuters is yung car-centric infrastructure dito sa pinas and wala tayo voice in government. usually hanggang LGU level lang like sila Marikina at Quezon City may initiatives pero walang mga nationwide na batas for commuters.

would be nice if the community could rally behind one cycling / commuter advocate and rally behind them for the next election. I think the numbers would definitely add up since commuting is really a pain in the ass for most of the population without a motorcycle or car.

I finally bought my first actual good wheelset, and my first “tunog mayaman” 😃 LDCNC

currently considering switching my brother's bike to hydraulics pero kulang pa budget and he wants to switch na as soon as possible since masyadong matigas yung mech brakes kahit naka-jagwire na cables. a friend is offering his 2x10 speed hydraulic brifters+calipers for cheap, good condition naman pero 2x9 speed kasi yung sa bike. he said it will work naman kasi same 9 speed cable naman gagamitin/ikakabit sa shifter. can this work? hindi ba sya hazardous?

he's kinda skinny, maikli rin daliri nya kaya naengganyo talaga sya mag-hydraulic after testing my bike.

I just wanna share my experience and its my fault kasi mayabang din.

Kakabili ko lang ng Pedelec and its amazing. I also have a roadbike.

Nangyari kahapon Aug 30 (Sunday morning) habang pa-ahon ako sa Crisanto M. Delos Reyes Road mula Amadeo papuntang Tagaytay Crossing.

Chill ride lang ako at 15 km/h gamit yung Nakto Ranger ko nung biglang may dumaan na grupo ng tatlong cyclist—naka-full kit at pang-pro talaga ang gamit, siguro nasa 20 km/h ang hataw. Dahil medyo may pagka-mayabang din tayo dahil bago ang bike, pumasok yung pagka-petty ko haha! Binuksan ko ang Turbo - constant 33 km/h, at naiiwanan ko sila sa ahon.

May isa sa kanila na sumubok humabol at makisabay, pero napagod din agad sa slope dahil diretso lang yung 33 km/h ko.

Nag-stopover ako sa Dunkin' Donuts sa Tagaytay Crossing para magpahinga (hinihingal pa rin kahit naka-pedal assist!). After 5 to 10 minutes, doon din pala sila papunta. Yung isa parang may galit pa rin sa karera—lumapit sa Nakto Ranger ko, tiningnan yung motor hub, tapos sinabihan yung mga kasama nya ng: "Cheater pala kaya mabilis, kala mo malakas!".

Natawa na lang ako tapos umalis na agad para iwas gulo, ang init ng ulo nya ramdam din ng kasama nya.

I have a bike which is worth around 10 to 16k in parts

and um nagka disagreement ako ng mga magulang ko na bawal daw i blow dry yung bike at i-air dry nalang kasi its a waste of electricity. They said like "bakit iblow-blowdry yung bike kung yung kotse ko na nahugasan at di na blow dry ay maayos pa naman?". Nag aalala ako na baka mangalawang yung drive train ko at biglang masira overtime. Cycling is one of the things that make me happy so ano ang gagawin ko?
