Just got interviewed last week, called the recruiter, she said that she is just waiting for a job positions on my region the she'll inform me. Anyone have the same exp? Shoild i expect somethimg?

So my nursing background is Labor&Delivery & postpartum. I did that for five years and I have been a case manager at aetna for the last three years. I started out and just a general medical case management position for one year and now I am in maternity case management. I love the company and I love the flexibility of working from home, the pay is great, love my leadership, etc. BUT being on phone calls all day is so draining. I was curious if anyone has had experience in utilization management at aetna specifically? I would really like to stay with this company! If anyone has any input on the position, current pay, etc. I would love to hear it! I know that it is hourly as opposed to salary, and there are some on-call hours, but wasn’t sure how much to expect.

I’m posting for my mom (I’m her second of three kids). She lives in Prince George’s County, Maryland, and is looking for a **full-time job** — preferably on-site with accommodations or fully remote.

She worked as a **Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for 14 years** before a hip injury that now limits her mobility. She cannot walk long distances or stand/walk for long periods. She also has **limited computer knowledge** but is willing and able to learn basic skills.

She’s hoping for roles that are mostly seated, don’t require heavy physical work, and can offer reasonable accommodations under the ADA. Her CNA background gives her strong experience in patient care, documentation, working with elderly and disabled individuals, teamwork, and reliability.

Any leads or advice appreciated for:

* Healthcare-related jobs that are less physical (medical office support, patient scheduling/coordination, light administrative roles, etc.) * Other full-time seated or remote positions that value her caregiving experience * Entry-level roles or places that provide on-the-job computer training * Companies or agencies in/near Prince George’s County that are disability-friendly * Government or nonprofit programs that help people with disabilities (and limited computer skills) find suitable work in Maryland

Bear with me… this might be a little lengthy.

I’m a RN with 2.5 years experience in periop nursing. I love my job but lately they have pushed more and more responsibilities on us and increased patient load to where everyone is utterly exhausted. When I started I was working about 8-9 hour shifts and now I’m working 9-12 hour shifts. I never wanted a job with 12 hour shifts. They’re just not for me. This has been my first and only job as a RN. No nights/call/weekends/holidays so it’s great but God I’m TIRED, my mental health is suffering due to lack of sleep (early mornings/long hours/young kids), and I miss being home with my kids…

I’ve thought about getting a remote job as I have two young kids at home, but I recently found out I’m pregnant with my third and I’m not sure how that would all work with FMLA/maternity leave or if I would get any at all being a fairly new employee. Not to mention childcare is extremely limited where I am and also expensive so 3 kids in daycare is a no-go. My husband is not ok with me just up and quitting my current job (not that I intended to) so if I’m going to jump ship I need a plan in place but I need it to be a secure plan for my own sanity and peace of mind.

My options right now are:

-stay with my current job until baby #3 is here and figure out what to do at that point (I get 8wks unpaid leave)

-move to a remote job (however I want something that doesn’t require tons of phone time and probably something part time or PRN rather than full time - suggestions?)

Idk exactly what I’m asking here, just need some advice that is not coming from my husband or friends lol.

I just started remote work as a QA / medical records review specialist + virtual receptionist. Im currently just using my my macbook pro 2020 (🦖) and i've been wanting to buy a desktop for the longest time bc i can't choose over Imac or PC! 😩 and yes, aesthetics are a big thing for me (Thinking of an all white/grey set up) and I do play games from time to time but nothing serious. And I do think I want double monitors too.

What would you guys recommend? Budget wise, I can comfortably go up to 130k.
