Question In an all-out war, Mother Miranda's houses and the mold demolishes Los Illuminados every single time. Still, I want to know, do you think Saddler would surrender and align with her, or let his god-complex spell his doom once more?

Discussion Will Tyrant appear in the 2026 Resident Evil movie?
Director Zach Cregger answered that Nemesis will not appear in the movie.
If the Tyrant appearing in the RE movie is just that fat Mr.XXL from the trailer, It would be pretty disappointing.

Discussion I think what really sets G apart from the other monsters in resident evil is that we see him slowly become less and less human as the game goes on until the end where he’s unrecognisable

Discussion Is it just me or is the story of resident evil 9 just bad fanfiction? The fact that it retcons certain aspects to haphazardly fit an organization from 7 into the mainline Canon while simultaneously saying that certain events never happened feels like a insult to longtime fans such as myself Spoiler
Seriously when your game retcons the majority of the franchise and turns the greatest villain into a martyr that was supposed to feel sorry for, on top of telling us that all the characters that we grew to love are doomed to die, you screwed up somewhere with the writing staff.
I have written fiction stories that have better premises than this. According to capcom, the nuclear strike wasn't a nuclear strike in 3, the connections somehow used it to seal off the city and there are also biological problems as well namely the Titan spinner. If you have any idea of how spider biology works or the square cube law, you would realize that that thing should have died a long time ago. Spiders need oxygen to live but they don't filter it like we do. If raccoon is still a ruin and there's no way that things should have been able to get that big let alone have children.
So I know that you're going to rip me apart for nitpicking this game but I feel that as a fan, it's not right for a decade of lore to be retconned for the sake of a cheap plot twist.
I've seen enough bad finale on TV and read enough bad fanfiction to know when something doesn't smell right.
I'm not saying it's a bad game, I'm just saying that the story could be a bit more concise and less contradictory.
And yes I know that you're going to say they're variations of a certain virus etc but even viruses have to obey real world logic. I know, I'm arguing reality in a fictional premise but at least try to hear me out?
I started on resident evil 2 and resident evil 3. Granted I didn't play four until later but trying to argue that a recent organization responsible for an entire separate chain of events is responsible for what happened in the main line Canon is a massive massive overreach and honestly it feels like Capcom is running out of ideas at this point.
Anyway, what's your thoughts on this?
I know what you want to type out and I know what you want to say, you want to tell me that it's just a game and that logic has no place. I'm asking that you humor me
by the way, my upvotes are at 0 despite the fact that I have 20 replies and counting. either people disagree with me or something else
why is everyone getting downvoted? they have very good points. whatever troll is doing this, STOP IT!

Discussion If you had to guess, where do you think Helena, Jake, Ingrid, and Ada are today, given that there isn't a trace of them in RE9? Spoiler
None of them—except Ingrid—were mentioned in the last two movies, and that covers the period two years after RE6 (2013). Thirteen years later, one could easily imagine any number of scenarios, but objectively speaking, where might they be? Helena is a partner to Leon, even if they don't necessarily work together; Ingrid served as Leon's assistant for ten years; it is hard to believe Jake wouldn't have wanted to seek out Sherry, and Ada's ending implied he was going to be recruited; and Ada herself—who tends to lurk in the shadows wherever Leon is—left the door wide open for the future, something even Helena remarks upon. Where are they today?
