Director Zach Cregger answered that Nemesis will not appear in the movie.
If the Tyrant appearing in the RE movie is just that fat Mr.XXL from the trailer, It would be pretty disappointing.

Gameplay Jake is objectively the strongest RE protagonist. No other RE lead has lifted a nearly 10 ft Tyrant-esque monster in Jackhammer fashion. (Or should I say Jake-Hammer).
