Palīdzība/Help Looking for interview partners
Hello everybody
I am a student from Switzerland and going on a solo trip to Riga for an elective module in university. One of my goals is to interview 3 people there.
I am very interested on how life changed since the fall of the soviet union, how the relationship between latvians and russians works or how life is there as a young person. But i'm open to any other topics that interest you to talk about.
Is there anybody that has time and is willing for a meetup somewhere in Riga during 10th - 12th of september for about 1-2h?
As a thank-you you would receive 500g of swiss chocolate:)
Pls feel free do dm me or leave a comment.

Why does every foreigner who is interested in Latvia only cares about Soviet Union and Russians that live here? Why is nobody interested in Latvian culture?

My apologies if I my request sounded like I wasn't interest in Latvian culture. Since the Soviet Union ended quite recently it sounded like something interesting to talk about. But i'm also very interested to talk about Latvian culture

You need to interview 3 persons for one of those topics or 1 person per 1 topic? Your University is OK with such sampling and vague topics? For example:
How life changed - you need someone who was adult during soviet times (so basically 50+), also there were huge differences how it was in various periods of Soviet occupation, if you will interview 70+ you will get totally different answers than 50+. Huge differences also based on what was that person status, etc. There were no equality in Soviet union.
How relations worked - here you cant rely on single Latvian or Russian interview, depend on person, those will be totally opposite.
