Hello! I am looking to do an RP that is OC x OC. I would prefer if it was FxF or MxM.

I have a few settings in mind but I do not mind other ideas all are welcomed!

Some suggestions I have:

1. Collage drama: Characters become roommates as they can't afford their own places either due to family trouble or financial issues or simply they already together I do not mind either
2. Office drama: two office workers fall in love this one I would like if it was from the perspective of the people who work in the office from those Y/N novels where the boss basically just pushes a lot of work on the employees while also being a terrible boss himself. I have more details on this specific one if asked
3. CEO plot: where two rival company heirs or current CEO in an enemy to lovers situation.
4. We can also do a martial arts story line if that is what you are interested in
5. I also have an idea for one that is a rebirth kind of deal where one charecter dies transported either into a game or book as one of the characters and now has to fix the plot can just be a regular charecter or play as the reborn charecter (Can be a real book or a fake book. If you did choose a real book then I do not mind doing the research if you choose a real game or book though that is within reason.)
6. I also like Ace attorney so if someone wants to do OC in that world do not mind and in that one is the only exception where I would role play the actual characters in it depending on the pairing.
   

I really would like to discuss and expand on these ideas together these really are just bases but I am welcome to suggestions. Also I would like it if you where open to playing more than one charecter to make the world feel more alive.

Now onto some other equally important things to note before you make the decision if you really want to RP with me these are important.

1. I live in PT (Pacific time) I do not mind others who live in other areas, within reason as I am often up late and early anyways but should be discussed before anything is agreed to to make sure our time zones wont be an issue. So please if you DM me please add your time zone in there.
2. Also I am in collage but am mainly free during Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. For the rest of the week when I do technically have school some days I might only be able to message 2 or 3 times a day while others I can give 5 responses it really just depends on my schedule and length of responses.
3. I write in simi Lit to novella I mainly just follow with whoever I am RPing with you are welcomed to say if you prefer longer or shorter responses I do not mind.

Hello! As the title suggests, I am looking for anyone interested in writing about the Diablo 4 storyline with me.

About myself, I am a literate writer and as hinted at above, I have plenty of ideas as to what could happen. I have been an avid writer and roleplayer for 14 years now. You do not need to be an author to reach out, I promise! All I ask for is proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Each response does not need to be a book. I just want us both to put in the effort to develop an amazing story!

As for what I'm looking for; a look into what could've been. We saw firsthand how little Inarius cared for Sanctuary, and blindly believed it was his divine right to end Lilith once and for all. Both sides had flaws, but Lilith truly cared for the world she created, and refused to support the Hells, despite sharing their blood. So, I'm hoping to find someone with a similar interest in exploring Lilith's journey and what her victory may have looked like.

I tend to include some form of romance, and would like to do so here as well. I'm open to all types of characters. Could be the Wanderer, or a canon character such as Elias, or any other ideas! A lost paladin, a half-demon struggling to find peace, an angel disguised to observe Sanctuary's war, anything! We can be as creative as we want.

My style varies, as I have experience writing anywhere from free form to novella, so I am more than willing to adapt. Whatever you're comfortable writing, I'll match.

I do prefer to roleplay on Discord, but I am not opposed to other platforms or staying in chats. Discord simply works the best in my experience.

Hello! I'm back again looking to revitalize my love of writing! Below is some general information about me!

* I am 23 and prefer to roleplay with those 20+! IRL gender is irrelevant to me. My timezone is GMT-5 (EST), and I am a Novella writer. I’m capable of replying every 1-3 days, sometimes quicker, but this fluctuates based on my work schedule. 

* Genres I am familiar with include : High Fantasy, Romance (non-negotiable), Angst, and Supernatural. I prefer to pick a pairing and build a plot around it, but I’m open to selecting a trope and expanding on it as well, (i.e. Prince x Knight, Gentle x Gruff). I want someone to world build with, whether that is in my world or yours! Bonus points if you’ve crafted some races of your own.

* ⁠I am looking for someone who is willing to become friends outside of roleplay! OOC communication is very important to me. I want to create mini stories/plots, AUs, headcanons, send each other memes that remind us of our story and characters, and gush about them together! If you are the type to wordlessly send replies, or will not reciprocate when I do the things listed above, I will not roleplay with you. OOC is basically a requirement for me, as it’s inherently tied to my motivation. I don’t want to treat this art form like a chore.

* ⁠I roleplay LGTBQ+ romance only. MxM is what I have the most experience with, but I’m open to FxF. I just need to be very partial to the pairing to move forward with it. 

* ⁠I only accept and use drawn references, whether by you or an artist you discovered on Pinterest or some other platform. Realistic face claims are a hard pass. Do not approach me with references containing a character of dubious age either. If I can mistake them for an adolescent, I’m not comfortable roleplaying with you and will not respond.

* My characters are diverse in both design and personality, some possessing  monster/folklore characteristics. I am hoping to find someone who does the same! I am not currently interested in playing against characters that are: Overly passive, petite/short, are hyper dependent, or possess ‘excessive’ traumas ( A sad or difficult backstory is fine, but when things continuously go wrong for the character it quickly becomes draining ). These characters are often exhausting to write against, as much as I hate to generalize. So at the moment I have to be quite strict about this.

Only a couple of years after the Mars Federal Socialist party set up their legalized bounty program on the moon of Deimos, the formerly free organizations and syndicates around the celestial object began to be picked off of their respective domains. Larger clans, like the affamed Iron Calvary, could take the loss of an occasional grunt, while others saw nearly all of their ill-gotten-gains ransacked, and lives robbed back. Money kept flowing through the newly-regulated system, and as it grew larger, the formerly expansive skyline of underground scheming began to shrink.

However, as with all good things, that weight carries over.

Stories of issues amongst the three planets began to seep through the cracks. In order to keep the piece, numerous organizations began to emerge to combat the misuse of the Bounty Hunting System.

Enter: SARNET.

Labeled as a “judicial insurance agency” SARNET sought to protect those being hunted from the misuse of the system as a whole. Paired in twos, agents of SARNET investigate current, former, and actively ongoing hunts in order to find evidence of misconduct, no matter the risk.

I'm Izzy, and I've enjoyed writing for a long time. It's been a while, however, since the last time I was able to sit and think about any long-term ideas I could have and want to explore.

I want to try again! And by trying I mean actually getting serious about it. I'm here because I want to find a partner who enjoys world-building, long-term commitment and telling stories with some angst and unnecessary drama.

I've been thinking about a concept for a story for a while now and, if it sounds interesting to anyone here, I would like to discuss it with you.

I want to play something akin to a slice-of-life surrounding a pro-athlete. Specifically, I am interested in a tennis player or a soccer player (I'll refer to it as football, but just wanted to make it clear what I'm referring to). Why these? Simply because it is what I'm somewhat knowledgeable about. Would prefer tennis, but can work with any.

I'd prefer for this story to be based around your character as the main protagonist, while I play the world surrounding them. Opponents, events, dramas, all that kind of stuff.

Obviously, I do not want to spend a month or so describing a match. We'll do that, but I also want to explore life outside the game. People, money, life-style. You get what I mean. Romance might be available, but I prefer not to focus the whole story around it.

A limit I want to make clear is about real people. I have no problem including real names to add texture and characterization, but I refuse to include any romantic or so interaction with them. At the same time, I would prefer to come up with a roster of our own, but I'm absolutely open to the other option.

Also, as I said, I'm returning to writing, and I study and work. I will not be able to write every day, and maybe my consistency will lack. I will not expect you to write every day either. I prefer something slower and intentional than a quick exchange of responses. I try to stay around 600-700 words per response, but it can change depending on the needs of the story.

I prefer Discord (meaning only use Discord). I have no preference for your character's gender, nor your gender in real life.

Hi there so I've been looking to try a different approach on a romance style roleplay and I thought what could make our characters appreciate and love each other more then having only each other to rely on and trying even harder to survive for one another! of course it does start off with our characters already being romantically involved since the plot obviously gives it enough time for those feelings to develop

The plot!:

its been 10 years since the outbreak and both of our characters have been surviving this whole time in a bunker, occasionally going out to the surface to gather what you need but when the bunkers generator breaks down and the food getting low, we have no choice but to leave and venture out into a post apocalyptic America thats filled with mutated animals, horrible infected and the most worrying, other humans as we try to survive and find a non radiated home for us to settle down or will we even remain the same during our travels in this hostile world together.

now yes its NSFW and any participant must be 18+ as the rp will contain acts or mention of gore and violence as it is a post apocalyptic world and a lot of messed up stuff can and will happen to our characters, think of it like the Metro series except its in America and we're mostly on the surface traveling on foot through the states together!.

Hello! I'm looking to do a modern slow burn, enemies to lovers SOL romance in a toxic, highly competitive work environment. Lately I am a bit played out on traditional MxF pairings, so I would like to do mxtf or mxm, but I’m also open to mxf if you prefer. Our characters are both interns at the same financial firm. They're both candidates for a big promotion and so their is a natural competitiveness between them. Whether trying to overshadow or undermine the other, the two do not like each other, to the point where others at the firm notice as well. As a cruel punishment for the two, their boss sends them on a week long trip to London to work on their networking and building clientele. The two are in a new country with nobody else and are forced to work together on projects and pretend to get along for the sake of their careers.

Robert Baratheon, First of His Name, is dead. And with his death, came a whirlwind of slaughter. His hand, Edward Stark, is executed shortly after, under charges of treason. After rumors that King Jofferey may be, Renly and Stannis Baratheon both called their banners to claim the Iron Throne. Robb Stark, driven by rage, declared himself King in the North.

Yet even amidst this carnage, nothing compares to the brutality of the Red Wedding. An act so heinous, even the most heartless of Westerosi Houses watched in horror.

House Stark is in ruins. With Robb dead, Arya missing, and Bran and Rickon's fates unknown, there remains only one clear heir to the Stark name: Sansa.

Once just a girl, naive, bright eyed, she is no colder, more cunning. Yet even she cannot control her fate, not fully.

The Lannisters have seen fit to send her off, under Petyr Baelish's suggestion, to the Vale, for “her own protection.” It's not doubt part of another of Littlefinger's schemes, perhaps a way to maneuver his way into Northern politics.

Yet, men plan, and the God's laugh. En route to the Gate of the Moon, Sansa's retinue is attacked by a group of bandits calling themselves the Whitetree Company.

And thus begins our tale.

After getting back into AWOIAF, I've decided to try my hand at role-playing in the setting again!

Before that, a bit about me!

-I am Rusty! 24, He/Him. Been writing for around seven years now! I'm majoring in history, which is also one of my main hobbies!

-I consider myself semi-literate! I average around 2-7 paragraphs per post, depending on the scene and context. I don't expect you to match, nor to have an English degree. I'm not picky!

Now! Onto the story itself.

As the summary suggests, this is a rewrite of Game of Thrones. Basically, following the Purple Wedding, Littlefinger smuggled Sansa from King's Landing, intending to take her to the Vale. Except, there is one difference: he has her travel by land, while he goes by sea, to avoid suspicion. Unfortunately for him, Sansa's retinue is attacked by bandits, and she is captured. But rather than common bandits, she is instead captured by a group of renegade known as the Whitetree Company, fighting a guerilla campaign against the Lannisters. Their leader, a hedge knight named Roland Rivers, eventually realizes who Sansa is, and they embark on a quest to reunite her with the remaining Starks.

This is a romance focused roleplay. While this COULD be enemies to lovers, I'd rather not. Instead, I want to explore the differences in their upbringings and experiences, but also the similarities. The contrast between Roland's loud, nature, and his chivalry and compassion. Sansa's broken innocence, and her desire to have something real and honorable, etc. Obviously, there will be drama, action, etc, but I want the focus to be on Roland and Sansa's relationship.

Nobody believed the tales of the Marches until they were standing in the mud,watching the trees bleed black sap. For years, the court in the capital dismissed the rumors as stories meant to keep frightened children close to the hearth. The kingdom preferred to believe monsters were nothing more than ink on old parchment. But the things waiting in the dark did not care about disbelief,and they were patient enough to wait for the realm to drop its guard.

​Niobé knew exactly when she had stopped doubting those old tales. Not when her family's name was stripped of its titles, nor when the king's seal banished her house to the frozen edge of the world. It was a single day ago, when she forced open a rusted iron door  in the cellar of her family's ruined estate and stepped into a forgotten vault left by her ancestors. The parchment inside had laid out the truth of the ancient power sleeping beneath the soil, and the burden placed directly on her blood.

​Now, she had no time to ponder her family's disgrace. She was simply trying to stay alive.

​She ran through the dense pine undergrowth, her heavy velvet dress catching on thorns and tearing at the hem. The bright indigo fabric was a beacon against the grey bark and dying moss, and her unpinned red hair tangled in the branches as she shoved her way forward. A year ago she had lived a life of quiet luxury in the capital. Now her lungs burned with cold air, her ankles twisted against hidden roots, and the damp soil soaked through her boots.

Behind her, the sharp clack clack of ironshod hooves rang off the stone ridges. Her pursuer was taking his time. The rider kept a steady pace, breaking through the dense brush with the calm assurance of a man who knew his quarry had nowhere left to run. Every misstep, every ruined alliance, every secret she had unearthed had dragged her to this wet stretch of forest.

My idea centres around a kingdom we build together. On the edge of that kingdom, just past an uncharted wilderness,a looming dark entity is raising an army of forgotten shadow beasts. The people of the kingdom don't really believe in this threat, and even the king's court, which has reports about this darkness, views the frontier as disposable. They send political enemies and disgraced houses there to die. Meanwhile, deep within the woods lies a hidden source of old power. Something the court would slaughter thousands to control if they knew it existed.

I would like to play an exiled noble. A keeper of local lore and secrets, maybe even someone harbouring a dangerous, hidden ability. We can work that out together, but nothing overpowered. And your character? Maybe he is the one sent after her, a commander riding out from the court, or someone else entirely. The basic idea is flexible if you have something more exciting in mind.

Hello! I’m Phillip, 19M from the US! I’m in EST and have been roleplaying for about 6ish years. Because of that, I like to consider myself a semi lit to novella writer, depending on my partner! A bit about myself, I’m currently supposed to be attending my second year of college, but due to personal reasons I’m taking a gap year, which also means I’ll be much more active hopefully! I do tend to stay up really late, so if that helps, I don’t mind timezones. Witch and her newfound apprentice:

I kinda stole this from an old comic I once read, but I’m changing it up for sake of roleplay! The story follows a runaway prince who ran away from his duties and kingdom, in search of being normal, feeling loved. In his process, he stumbles across a strange cabin, outside the kingdom gates, in this cabin, a witch finds him, and saves him. In turn for allowing the prince to stay, she makes him her apprentice, and from here, the story follows their life together, ultimately, I’d like for there to be a romantic connection between the two after build up of course! This one is one of my favorites.

the strange roommate: this story follows a young man, and his roommate. This story is much more open ended, as this one is used in case someone wants to play a character that isn’t human, more so a hybrid. Can be discussed more if you’d like!

So, I want to preface this by saying I typically write in third person, but I am open to other perspectives. I tend to write a minimum of two paragraphs per response. This story will include a lot of romantic tension and, ideally, some emotionally heavy moments. Bonus points if you want to chat and get to know each other outside of just being writing partners!

There’s two chapters to this story, we can obviously write both, but I’m more than okay with skipping over to the second chapter.

Our characters have been best friends since kindergarten. I’ve been to every one of your birthday parties, we’ve walked home together ever since we were in the second grade, we’ve even invited each other to family vacations, etc. We’ve always been close, in spite of how different we are. You were always more of an introvert, but I couldn’t be any more different. My outgoingness even landed me a small acting gig in a local commercial, which ended up snowballing into something bigger.

The first chapter of this story opens with what your character thinks is just another sleepover. My little brother keeps pestering us, all while you’re in awe of him and cheering him on. Slowly, over the course of the night, our characters start to uncover some romantic feelings for each other. It’s always been looming over us, especially when other people pointed it out, but we’ve never paid much attention to it. After all, why *can’t* a boy and a girl just be friends? Later on, things come to a boiling point, only for my character to tell you that he’s moving to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. You’re understandably heartbroken. The morning after is awkward and uncomfortable for more reasons than one.

The second chapter of this story opens three years later. Once I left town, we didn’t stay in touch. That wasn’t really your call. Every time you tried reaching out, you would never get the responses that you expected. You suspect it’s because I was too busy to keep up with you. To fill up the empty space, you started getting into songwriting and playing the piano because you needed some way to put into words just how angry you were at me. Instead of letting it eat you up inside, you wanted to channel it into something creative. You put some of your songs up on social media and gained a small following. You started getting messages from people in the industry who wanted to sign you to a record deal and eventually, you decided to bite. While in the midst of sending out college applications, you signed with a record label.

You got an apartment in Santa Monica and started going to recording studios to work on new music. You put out your first song, that one song you’d written years ago that kept resonating with you. Obviously it was about me. All of our old friends could tell it was about me. Suddenly, you’re everywhere. Your face is on billboards, your name is in tabloids, it was... terrifying. You get an invite to an industry event, from some CEO. You figure it’s a good way to make connections. After all, you’re the new girl in town. Everybody wants to talk to you... including me.

From the minute we spotted each other across the crowded room, our eyes widened.

And that’s where we pick up from.

i’m searching for a roleplay partner that would’ve interested in a more medieval leaning romance.

For some time i’ve been longing to play my oc who is a prince. Personally i have interest in your character als being a prince, however i would also be fine with another role.

As I do not have a proper plot i guess i will just let out some ideas!

\\-Both of the princes have hated each other for as long as they have known each other. However, at a masquerade ball they have gotten to know each other, without knowing they each are the prince the other one despises. In the garden, they even got romantically involved with each other. How will they react when one of the princes mask fell off?

\\-Muse A, a prince has been engaged to a foreign princess. They have met quite a few times when they were a child, but they hadn’t even really formed a friendship. Now they are young adults, and soon to be officially married. The princess and her brother (Muse B and his sister are visiting Muse A’s kingdom as a formality once again. Now meeting Muse B for the first time, Muse A slowly starts developing feelings for him.

'A zoonotic disease outbreak' that's what they told people caused all this. Some advanced form of rabies turning people into freakish monsters but as time went on, as people started to change more, a disease seemed unlikely. It only added fuel to the fire of conspiracy theories claiming it was either a foreign biological weapon or, more insane, some inside job by the elites culling the population. Others still see it as a warning from one god or another as punishment for our sins.

The true beginning, however, began in a secluded village outside the city where the outbreak wreaked havoc. A small, crack squad was sent in after rumours of disappearances and a strange sickness leaving people hideously transformed. Almost as soon as they arrived any communication with the squad ended. Who came back to spread the sickness is still a mystery.

Now sirens and screams ring through the night as people attempt to flee the city only to get caught in traffic jams despite warnings for people to remain inside. Neighbours and families turn on one another as they succumb to whatever sickness or delivery has possessed them.

Hello, hope that little intro above caught your eyes. I am looking for someone to write a zombie apocalypse RP inspired by the classic idea of a company creating some sort of horrible experiment which infects people. Clearly inspired by the likes of Resident Evil though no actual knowledge of the series is necessary especially as I would like to make something of our own as I am not really into fandom RPs. Instead of a biological outbreak perhaps this is something more supernatural.

How this plays out is pretty open. One idea I had was a sort of prologue to the outbreak with the usual expert squad investigating strange occurrences (perhaps a missing scientist or strange occultist) is a strange location. That can be the focus of the entire RP or it can go wrong resulting in the titular outbreak. These two scenarios can focus on separate characters perhaps with some jumping between perspectives and/or times. Though it definitely does not need to be that complicated. Overall I am looking for someone fairly literate who enjoys telling stories and building worlds. I try to fill a Discord chat as I feel that is the best balance between detail and reply timing.

Usually I prefer a to take a GM role providing different scenarios and characters for players to interact with. But I am open to discussing the way we play. Even when taking a GM role I am always happy to get input on the direction of the RP and what we both wish to include.

If you enjoy adding mechanics to an RP to help drive some elements of storytelling or add a little randomness then we certainly can add a simple system. Though that is not necessary.
