DMS - CASPer and PSEA
hello:3, im about to start school as a high school senior and I'm about to apply for Sonography at SAIT and I had a few questions :-
- How exactly do I prepare for the PSEA (what level of math, bio, and eng)
- How do I prepare for the CASPer(really nervous about this!)
- When should I book my CASPer and PSEA since I want to have the rusks ready before Oct 7.
- I'm still not finished with high school, I've only done physics 30 during the summer school, has anyone in grade 12 gotten accepted into the program despite not having their pre-reqs

Im going to be very honest with you, I would apply to a few backup programs in case bc it is very rare to get in right out of highschool. PSEA is very easy don’t stress about it, the physics will be like v=d/t type questions and weirdly enough questions about counting how many squares are in a shape. Its all common sense essentially. CASPer definitely prepare for, it’s just like a job interview so try and prepare like you would for that. I just used YouTube videos and wrote a few notes. Don’t be nervous honestly this is also kinda luck based, as you are scored against the other people who took the test that day. It’s also kinda just a money grab so don’t stress too much, people with 1st quartile scores have still gotten in. Maybe taking a gap year to finish classes and do any upgrading would be helpful, but no harm in applying except for the cost. As for booking CASPer and PSEA, SAIT is kinda being weird about it and hadn’t opened the applications yet. However once they open book the CASPer a few weeks out for time to prepare. For the PSEA you have to take it as soon as you pay and book so prepare before that. Again YouTube videos were most helpful to me. Goodluck!
