I was thinking about whether or not a global 610 outbreak in its later stages would be worse than When Day Breaks or not.

Are there any stories in which 610 causes an XK Class Scenario? Or any other infection SCPs? I'd love to read such a story

I'm a big Sarkicism fan, especially regarding Metaphysician's work, and it sounds like an exciting article. It also seems ridiculously long though, and I don't know when I'll have time to read it. I'm considering watching the Exploring Series videos, but he has a tendancy to paint Sarkics as irrefutable villains, and it sounds like an article good enough that I should read it rather than getting a play by play commentary.

(To note, I don't want to sound mean or act like a dick in this rant I get that the admins of the SCP Wiki dont have the time for this project and have something personal going on)

So in the couple of days I've noticed that Wikidot has slowly become more of a shithole. Like a few days ago Wikidot was totally down, so that means that I couldn't assess ths SCP wiki or other sister sites (like The Backrooms Wikidot)

And a more recent example is the missing images of the articles that after it would load the image wouldnt appear so that means that Wikidot is acting up again

So Im confused. Why hasn't the wiki still move to Wikijump already. I've seen some other users on Reddit say this that there needs to some interest about this project but there isnt any. Why is that?

(Also I've seen in late 2024 about a meme for the Wikijump project but Im too lazy to explain the full meme)

I wanna have multiple playable characters who aren't SCPs. I've got a few GOIs planned, but what better place to start than the Foundation's own soldiers. This one is meant to be pretty simple, the tutorial character with a gun that everyone can understand, like Overwatch's Soldier 76 or Marvel Rivals' Punisher

I also decided to include SCP-079 as an Anomalous Object and have its effect be that it causes a Containment Breach then and there. Of course, that was inspired by the game of the same name. SCP-1440 was chosen because I thought it was pretty cool. Besides, it's good to have characters who are more obscure to promote diversity and stuff

I've been toying with the idea of writing a scp article for years but English is not my native language. Of course I wouldn't be asking the question if I didn't feel comfortable writing in English but I was wondering if it's been successfully done before.

It might be to avoid spoiling the nostalgia, but I think it could be good with the new ACS and the improvement in article quality.

So I have just recently joined the SCP Wiki, and what I did first was write my first SCP, I took one of the empty slots of the SCPs themselves, and it just recently started getting downvoted after I posted it immediately, I gave credits in the discuss to the original writer of the scp alongside my own scp that I written myself, I am new to the Wiki. Is this normal in the SCP Wiki to happen, will my post be deleted.

The first one is SCP-ES-169, I doubt anyone doesn't know where the second one comes from.

I'm drafting an idea for an SCP article right now, and I want an MTF which specializes in psychic/telepathic detection in my article. It's really hard to find MTFs online unless I search by individual name. It's possible an MTF like this doesn't exist, but it FEELS like it should. It's such a simple idea, somebody has to have done it before.

I'm trying to recall the name of a podcast/video about an SCP, it was multiple episodes about an agent for the Foundation researching an area, with each subsequent episode being set further back in time. It included a ski lodge with a serial killer, wildlife with abnormalities (multiple eyes and limbs), children being recruited by an entity, and eventually the nature of the entity itself (a nature goddess from Europe who had moved with a tribe to America I think).
Does this ring any bells with anyone, it was one of my all time favourites.

I am a scaredy cat, but for some reason, everything that comes out in SCP wiki is not scary for me. It’s just intriguing and fun. I have a challenge for you guys, tell me an articles to read and lets see if I get scared. Imma read SCP-7034 for now

Hey everyone, in honor of us shooting 096 SEVEN YEARS AGO now, we wanted to share a bit about making the iconic SCRAMBLE Goggles.

After sketching out some ideas, Nathaniel started with ski goggles and used cheap mobile phone lenses to create the optics. He didn’t yet own a 3d printer, and chose to work with foam clay to form a base that the lenses could literally screw into.

We needed to have at least three picture-ready scrambies, so the form couldn’t be too complex. Each piece of foam clay also had to be sanded, primed, and painted.

To finish the design off, we added a plate of EVA foam to stretch across the top of the goggles, hiding any inconsistencies of the foam clay and visually bridging the goggles and the helmet. As a finishing touch, we added the sawed off the heads of machine screws and a few more EVA ridges.

Ultimately, we made three picture-ready models, and used space lenses to made three more background-ready models for use on extras far from the cameras focus.
