Hey everyone, in honor of us shooting 096 SEVEN YEARS AGO now, we wanted to share a bit about making the iconic SCRAMBLE Goggles.

After sketching out some ideas, Nathaniel started with ski goggles and used cheap mobile phone lenses to create the optics. He didn’t yet own a 3d printer, and chose to work with foam clay to form a base that the lenses could literally screw into.

We needed to have at least three picture-ready scrambies, so the form couldn’t be too complex. Each piece of foam clay also had to be sanded, primed, and painted.

To finish the design off, we added a plate of EVA foam to stretch across the top of the goggles, hiding any inconsistencies of the foam clay and visually bridging the goggles and the helmet. As a finishing touch, we added the sawed off the heads of machine screws and a few more EVA ridges.

Ultimately, we made three picture-ready models, and used space lenses to made three more background-ready models for use on extras far from the cameras focus.

The first one is SCP-ES-169, I doubt anyone doesn't know where the second one comes from.

(To note, I don't want to sound mean or act like a dick in this rant I get that the admins of the SCP Wiki dont have the time for this project and have something personal going on)

So in the couple of days I've noticed that Wikidot has slowly become more of a shithole. Like a few days ago Wikidot was totally down, so that means that I couldn't assess ths SCP wiki or other sister sites (like The Backrooms Wikidot)

And a more recent example is the missing images of the articles that after it would load the image wouldnt appear so that means that Wikidot is acting up again

So Im confused. Why hasn't the wiki still move to Wikijump already. I've seen some other users on Reddit say this that there needs to some interest about this project but there isnt any. Why is that?

(Also I've seen in late 2024 about a meme for the Wikijump project but Im too lazy to explain the full meme)

I'm drafting an idea for an SCP article right now, and I want an MTF which specializes in psychic/telepathic detection in my article. It's really hard to find MTFs online unless I search by individual name. It's possible an MTF like this doesn't exist, but it FEELS like it should. It's such a simple idea, somebody has to have done it before.
