Interested?

Anyone interested in buying a duplex house, 2 bed 1 bath, 856 square foot house and 3,210 square foot lot, out on highway 14 in the Valle Vista neighborhood? $299k. No lease to own, need this bought out right. DM for further info such as photos, etc.

That neighborhood not having an HOA was actually surprising to me, so I looked it up. Technically, they do, it was formed in the late 70's, but in became inactive and fell apart in the early 2000's. Now, the legal entity still exists on paper, but they collect no dues and have no kind of leadership. The issue with that is the dormant HOA still technically owns some land and open spaces in the neighborhood, and the county cannot legally make improvements or clean up dumping on these private association parcels. So there's always the chance that the HOA would be revived, and close to 30 years (or more) of improvements would need to funded by residents.

Woah! Thats wild. The county just recently redid the roads too. I doubt the HOA will ever revamp in this neighborhood

With that many years, and that much money needed, on their ledgers, I also doubt any residents would voluntarily vote to do so.

House was built in 2001. Actually considered a townhome, not a duplex. Kitchen has new stainless steel appliances. Washer and dryer. Pitched Metal roof, added new insulation 3yrs ago. refrigerated AC/furnace combo. New carpet replaced 5yrs ago w/ 30yr warranty. Painted at the same time. Closets in the rooms were redone 2 yrs ago

Duplex with 2 units but on paper it is considered a townhome
