Now that you clicked on this post, here’s a few things that you should know.
Some people ask similar questions quite often.
• I’m moving here, where should I live?
• Who’s coming for “remember the alamo day” and where should I eat dinner?
• What parts of town are safe and have the fewest teenagers wearing hoodies?
• When will these red light runners stop?
• Where is Mayor Webber doing such a great job?
• Why am i reading this?
I’d highly recommend looking through a few pages of old posts as your questions may have already been answered there more than a few times before. If you decide to ask these or similar questions, be advised that you may be met with eye rolls or stronger derision.
We have a Wiki here, if you’d like to contribute, let me know.
Please keep your post titles clean, if you run your filthy mouth in the title, your post may be removed.

Look here if you're interested in what r/SantaFe has to say about:
Airport
This list is by no means extensive and is merely an invitation to explore what the subreddit has already posted (and hopefully the links update as new posts are made). I'm putting this together for fun based on terms I've seen show up often or terms that are specific to Santa Fe/ NM so I hope you enjoy. Let me know - what did I miss on the list?? Add it below with a link to the search result.

Hello! Out of towner here (KY). I purchased a Ghost Ranch Blossoms and Bones festival ticket and a camping pass earlier this year for an upcoming trip out your way. Life happens and sometimes plans change, so I've had to scuttle my trip and am left with a three-day pass and camping spot I cannot use. I'd like somebody to be able to use them.
I'm not trying to make any money off them -- I know the tickets aren't sold out yet -- but I wouldn't mind making a little back from what I've already spent. I figure it doesn't hurt to ask $300 obo if anyone is interested. I'm hoping there is some interest. I will mention that the Sunrise main field camping area (where I have a pass for) IS sold out, so maybe that sweetens the deal.
I've checked with the ticketing company (holdmytickets.com) and have been informed that while I can't transfer the tickets out of my name, I can give the log-in and QR codes to any buyer or person I give the ticket/pass to. I'll be happy to forward the confirmation from holdmyticket.com to any interested.
Feel free to make an offer, I'd so much rather these tickets get used than not. I'm already bummed enough to be missing it and in having to cancel my trip.
I AM out of state, so we'll have to agree on a preferred money exchanging system. I personally use Venmo and Cash App, I know there are a million others. But hey, those details only need to be figured out if you are interested.
Potentially RIP my inbox -also possibly this will generate nothing. I just hope someone can use the ticket in my place. The line-up is awesome this year.

I am taking my mom to Santa Fe for her 92nd birthday. We were planning on going to Zozobra but after reading up about it, it seems like it would be extremely difficult to push her wheelchair through the crowd on grass and dirt. I'd still like to go but feel a little weird about going alone. The VIP tix are all sold out, sadly. So my question is... is it worth it? As a single, can I go later and squeeze in somewhere to sit or will people want to kick my butt? Full disclosure, I live in a pain body so I need to be able to sit but if everyone is standing, that will suck for me as far as seeing. Also getting there early to get a spot before the show starts causes me anxiety that I may have to leave early because I usually just have about a two hour window that I can tolerate being vertical. I know I sound like a sad sack but really, I am a lot of fun. Just a little high maintenance due to my chronic illness and needs.
Finally, any recommendations on places to take my mom on her actual birthday on the 7th? We are thinking Zacatlan for dinner. She loves live music, margaritas and chair dancing. I just like dancing. Oh, and 💨but that's a whole other thing. 😆
Sorry for the long post. Pic of me and my mom for tax. Please be nice. ☺️

After tech policy expert Ifeoma Ozoma sounded the alarm about Amira, the state-required AI reading assessment, parents across New Mexico stormed local school board meetings. After first doubling down on the requirement, The NM Public Education Department gave ground and is now letting districts opt out. But Ozoma says none of this would have happened if student data privacy and parental consent protections were already in place. Now she is pushing Santa Fe Public Schools to adopt them, so this doesn't happen again. A letter signed by 35 state lawmakers calling for parental consent has gone to Education Secretary Padilla.

Everest was a total joy throughout our Hounds Around Town outing: he was good in the car, polite on leash, and grinning from ear to ear all day. Everest has had a hard few months after being surrendered to Santa Fe Animal Shelter - we don't know his story, but his loving personality and solid house dogs skills suggest that he's been a loved family member and loyal companion.
To learn more and meet Everest for yourself, visit Santa Fe Animal Shelter, open 7 days a week between 10–5 🤎

Howdy y'all!
Would you all know if there's been a power outage on the Southside of town? Everyone's lights are off, but it's also 6am...
Any news would be appreciated!

Is Harry Montoya a serious candidate?
I believe he is a better choice than Mr Roybal
Thoughts?

Hi all - I’ve never been to NM and I hear incredible things. Wife and I are planning to visit SF and Taos over thanksgiving weekend, Wed through Sunday. I’ve read a bu ch about the various hotels. What are the top spots to stay at? People recommend some places but they are three stars?? Essentially we DO NOT want to pay 3k/night but are fine paying anyways 500-1k. Any recommendations for the most unique properties there? Also should we stay in Santa Fe the entire time and do a day trip to Taos? We love exploring hiking etc. but given Thanksgiving holiday, we want to be mindful of closures etc.
Any and all recommendations are welcome!!!!
Thx!

Im looking for a skincare place that doesnt charge $100+ for a facial. I dont need anything fancy, just looking for a relatively basic one. Does such a thing exist anymore? And in SF?
