Discussion Finally got genichiro
This is my first playthrough, I'm quite new to gaming played only witcher 3,elden ring and ghost of thsusima so far
It took me about an hour's worth of tries but i finally did, I've heard things like he's impossibly hard
Here are some questions that I could also google but I'd rather ask experienced players
1) What % of the main story have I progressed so far
2) are further bosses much more harder then him or does it get easier
3) is the dragonrot curing limited if yes then at what threshold Should I follow that if the help percentage get's below this I'll do the curing
4) are there any prosthetics or skills that allow chain assassination like ghost of thsusima or anything similar
5) I had 2 prayer beads and 2 remembernce bosses attack power i.e. Butterfly and Gyoubu, was a overlevaled for him?

Art Following up on my Genichiro piece, here is the second poster in the series: Isshin, the Sword Saint.
My goal was to highlight the duality of his peak physical form—wielding both spear and katana in heavy black ink—backed by the ghostly spirit of the seasoned master guiding him from behind. Designed with traditional Japanese calligraphy, raw ink textures, and industrial blueprint typography.

Humor Just put bro on his first Pc game
It's literally his first game, wanted to make him start on BMW but that shit was giving so many errors. So here we are. SEKIRO is the first game of his.

News Thanks for all the messages + what we're actually making
First of all: thank you. I genuinely didn't expect this many comments and DMs, and I've read all of them. Sorry if I couldn't reply to everyone one by one, so here's one answer for all of you.
What the game is: a Sekiro-like built around parry and posture. That's the core, and everything else is designed around it — no stamina-dodge spam, no build that lets you skip the fight. You learn the rhythm of the enemy or you don't get through. The setting, though, is not feudal Japan: we're going for a gothic soulslike atmosphere — cathedrals, crypts, dead cities, that kind of mood. Sekiro combat, Bloodborne-ish world.
About the world: we're not chasing size. No huge empty map. We'd rather build a smaller world with places that are actually worth walking into and remembering — dense, handcrafted, gothic. Quality over square kilometers.
We also have a second idea we're sitting on, but we still need to talk it through between us, so I'm not going to announce anything I'm not sure about yet. When it's decided, you'll hear it here first.
One thing I should say, since a few people asked how we got this far so fast: I've been building stuff in my spare time for about a year now, purely out of passion. So we didn't start from zero — a lot of the systems and content were already in place before this became "a project".
What's next: very soon I'll post a video/demo of a dungeon that will be part of the actual world of the game. Not a mockup, not a test level — an actual place you'll walk through.
Thanks again, seriously. The response has been way more than we expected, and it's the main reason we're pushing on this.

Discussion Ego?
Am I the only one who wants to deflect EVERYTHING that is parryable ofc. I do it every single time, even the hard ones like Genichiro multi attack, meaning that if I miss the last deflect I am as good as dead. I don't sidestep or run away if it's deflectable. It just gives the good feeling

Help Mist Raven prosthetic locked
I’ve read that Mist Raven feather is gone if I don’t get it after the invasion, but it’s not true. I am at the last boss and decided to sidetrack to get all of my prosthetic. I got the Mist Raven Feathers at Hirata Estate yet that prosthetic is still showing a lock. What am I missing?

Discussion Thats a wrap! So glad I tried again
I had played this game only once years ago. I decided it was far too difficult. I got the shura ending, spent a week beating isshin and swore never again. But I couldn't stop thinking about it all these years and had to try again. This time I felt unstoppable. The thing about clicking finally happened. My fastest run out of my 5 runs was under 5 hours, whereas my first was over 70! Now I got the full platinum in about the same amount of time it took me beat it once all these years back. This has become easily one of my all time favorites

Till now ive only ever had a 3 lightning reversal exchange max with malevolent genichiro (was in muscle memory which is why i took a step back after the 3rd one) but 2 extra was a pleasant surprise. Unmatched combat, always soothes me. Thank you modders!
Help Am I Garbage?
I died 54 times just to make it to the part where you stab the big-ahh snake in the eye.
I told my friend about it and he straight-up told me I should just give up. Am I actually that trash at this game?
I’ve never really played games like this before. Sekiro is my first proper hard game (other than Hollow Knight and Silksong), and I only started playing it after building my first PC. So I’m still not very familiar with this kind of combat system, especially since I’ve mostly played games on mobile my whole life.
Still… am I really that
Edit: I genuinely appreciate all the encouragement and advice. Reading through these comments has honestly made me feel much better and motivated me to keep going.
Also, I’ve noticed quite a few people calling my friend out for telling me to give up. He was only joking. We have a group chat where we constantly joke about pretty much everything, so there was no ill intent behind what he said. Apologies for not clarifying this.
And for those wondering how I’m keeping track of my deaths: I’m doing a 10 push-ups per death challenge, so unfortunately, I have to count them.
Thanks again to everyone who took the time to comment. I really appreciate it.
