Well-being 🌼 Taking time for myself
I had a wonderful weekend trip with a few good friends this weekend. We went to the beach and had an enjoyable time. I have lately been content with myself. Enjoying solitude and hobbies. Few frustrations. Tomorrow I will be at silent book club and will enjoy reading some books I haven’t read in a long time. Then over the weekend my plan is to go to a social mixer and have fun with friends again playing pickleball.
I’m going into fall with a clear head and decent mindset.

I adore my friends, they are awesome. And it's also awesome to be able to grab "me time" whenever that might be possible. No so-called significant other and no kids. You hear of frustrations with partners who have gross habits or are inconsiderate in various ways, and that parents often just want a little more time to breathe.
These freedoms are built right into my own life, regardless of how busy or committed I may be on any given day ("adulting" and all of that).
