Friends?

I’m a single father to a 2 month old boy. He’s my absolute world, but I do crave some adult interaction. I think it’s been hard for me because a lot of my friends have gone off to college etc and now I don’t have much aid in that regard.

Honestly, I don’t know if this is a great place to put this but I’d just love to have a few people in the same boat I can talk to.

Check if your local public libraries have babytime/storytime, could be a nice way to meet other adults in similar situations too

Single Dad of 3 here! You absolutely can meet people in this subreddit ive met some great people here. Casual Friends not like dating or anything but yeah In my experience you can absolutely meet people in this subreddit. Including the lady's and theres alot of very nice people in this Reddit it doesnt come without people who like Drama but in that Haystack is men and women who genuinely just want to meet friends.

Your in the right place if your looking to meet other Single Parents. Leave your post up for a couple days and im sure you'll get some comments and DMs from people. The subreddit is more active at certain times of the day and week.

That was me 16 years ago.

I clung to the friends who were still around and befriended other people. They weren't parents but they didn't mind coming over to hang out with me and my baby.

Also, I was playing an MMO at the time and I joined a guild for parents and met lots of cool people online who shared parenting and my hobby. They had older children so I even got advice.

Newborns sleep a lot so I was able to play and go on quests while she napped on my chest hehe
