Discussion Oscelda Build
Hi everyone! Just curious, as an Oscelda main-- which virtues do you focus for Oscelda? I use a hybrid build (Grace/Spirit), but I'm curious as to how other people build it

My face is using spirit thorn staff for its grace scaling and leaning into full grace. I forget if it needs some spirit requirements to use the staff but if it does just meet it and then the rest into grace.
The build plays as you sneaking up to a group, bestone them, then charged heavy headshot as many as you can for the sneak attack AND bestone break damage. With full grace scaling your sneaky bestone headshots will do massive damage. Even without sneak attacks, your bestone does a lot of damage with the headshot multiplier because grace is so overturned right now.
As a bonus your birds will do so much stagger to bosses that it opens them up for several headshots or a finisher.
Standing in water only amplifies the amount of bestone headshots you can do.
Reminder to add more grace attunements to your seathorn.

My Silistav and Basker's Wrest have enough Spirit scaling after Joineries that I can hit the Attunement damage cap on both of them with just the minimum Spirit needed to meet both their Requirements. So I've been running that much Spirit and everything else in Courage to have more HP and be able to meet the Requirement for Mendicant King armor, turning me into a tank mage.

I use "barbarian" build witch have courage70% and spirit30%. With oscelda passive(stun) and healing of 2. Skill u can just spam regular attacks and don't need to bother with dodge or parry.

I mainly play Oscelda because her kit is amazing. AoE stun, stagger birds, aoe pulse healing. Stand in water when possible and its virtually spammable.
I play Saphene's Shadow virtue (mostly grace with some courage).
My Offhand is essentially permenantly Skilter with Picktrix and totems that do explosions, stagger, and heal on pull smite (prob not super necessary but im constantly in Cogah with high level mobs so its nice).
My Main hand will rotate (depending how i feel like playing). Id say most of the time its Rostrum (i like the stealth and it hits hard and fast, an i happened to get a couple of sovreigns with good tempers). But ill switch to a bow, or Dwelion once in a while to change things up.
I sometimes switch to full courage build (Mora's Beast with the min required to keep skilter). Ill switch around between Purity (when i want to feel like Babe Ruth hitting home runs), Veilk (got a legendary with crazy good tempers, including 2 double tempers), Marrows Bane or Needleseye (happen to get a legendary with amazing tempers as well).
But all in all, i usually just wind up falling back on my grace/shortblade combo. The stealth is just so fun, and you can chain kill an entire group with finishers alone, and while proccing smites and exploding entire groups. And for bosses I just picktrix them and in a couple of hits they're usually dead.

ps im not trying to say my build is anything special, it just works for me and is a ton of fun (thats the point right?). I love reading everyones builds and trying new things. Im not super creative myself.

don't worry, i also struggle with creativity especially if i dont fully understand game mechanics xd but yeah, i guess grace is so overtuned rn, i've been seeing other comments who have recommended it as well

Full Spirit. I started out with oscelda. Although, at first i wasn't aware yet that you could even change adjust the virtues and thus played paragon oscelda for over a week. Had no real issues with it, stuff did take a bit to die but i never died.
I usually use one fully leveled Spirit weapon (staves or juniper or odiac ) and pair it with a weapon to level.

I use a spirit courage split with gathannan. With the healing and stone abilities, oschelda makes for a remarkably good melee build and hits like a truck. I’m really pleased with it.
