Hello everyone, we hope you're having a great weekend fellow Envoys! We are opening up moderator applications so we can ensure we have enough active moderators on the team to help with the moderation queue and deal with bot spam as well.
Regarding the problem with bots scalping for codes, I will be adding bot bouncer here which will help to ban the bots so we have less issues with them trying to scalp for codes.
Mod Applications will be open until 18th of August 5am British Summer Time, good luck to those who apply, we will reach out to applicants within the next few days / weeks.
If you have any questions / concerns, feel free to comment on this post.

Envoys!
As Thawtide’s chill blows through Midrath, we reach the turning of another year, looking back on a world that has grown bolder, stranger, and more alive with each step taken through Soulframe Preludes.
Together, we stepped into sap-dreams and freed Bromius from rotting roots. We Bestitched with a certain witch and crept into the crypts of The Circade. Some found rest among Alca’s Children, others shared sips of gloaming in the Drippin’ Flagon, while others still made Kith of Kings. We faced the Agari, crossed blades with the Mendicant King, startled skittish Will-o-wings from the brush. Through Magick weapons grown or forged, Totems charmed from wild critters, and Pacts shaped by Spirit, Courage, or Grace, together we gave Alca its rhythm.
Many Envoys also chose to become Founders, to carve their name upon Soulframe from the very beginning. Thank you. Your belief in this world means more to us than we can properly put to words.
Now, the Longnight stands before us. Thawtide is live! Across Midrath, the Cardinals’ song is threatened by Ode Squawkers. It falls to you, Envoy, to destroy these traps and help wake the resting sun.
As we look toward 2026, the direction is set. We’re doubling down on the systems that define Soulframe. Virtues will matter more. The Nightfold will grow in purpose. The Ode’s plans will begin to unfold in full. New Pacts, Fables, Festivals, and Wylds await. What you choose, what you prepare for, and what you confront will carry further than before.
Our studio will soon step back for brief respite over the holidays before returning to Alca with fresh eyes. Thank you for joining us this year. We’ll see you very soon.
Happy Thawtide!

Hi! New-ish to Soulframe, loving it so far!
I have finished all of the "main" story quests from the three allies in Nightfold. Are there other things to do after that? What does "end game" look like right now during closed alpha?
I've mostly been running around trying to farm mats to upgrade my bow to legendary, but curious if there are any dungeons or side quests I should be looking for outside of Votives?

While we are in preludes and everything is bound to change eventually, assuming there aren’t more account wipes, what will remain? I have a personal trophy that I hope to keep from one of the first patches of P15, a legendary paragon with 4 tempers, which I am unsure if it’s possible to get anymore.
so along with that, chaos chordstones, and other random things like weapon fragments for all the basic droppable weapons, what else might become rare? I like collecting these things like for reference outdated Warframe mods, arcane helmets, and things similar to old planetary resources in destiny 2 (alkane dust, simulation seeds, etc), what will become relics of our age that we can collect now?

Laggy snipping tool video for context. It's just a 50s video anyway but relevant is really only the map in the first few and the drops during the last few seconds.
There s an invisible chest, always present after every relog.
The loot seems to vary slightly but it almost always yields 1 of each item in the title.
Using Orengall's doggo for mobility a cycle of pressing the skill, grabbing the chest, relogin and pressing the skill again takes about 55s.
Considering the usual Moranite drop rates this is hyper efficient imo. Definitely doesn't look intended either so might as well stock up a little while it lasts.

This is more of a rant, but I really wish they fix it in the next patch. But nothing pisses me off more then when I'm playing regatta and I'm about to win, and then enemies just spawn out of nowhere. And hit me and then I get knocked out of the game. Like WTF you can't make me Invulnerable when i'm playing like you do with every other interaction in the entire game. When you're saving animals from a cage, you're Invulnerable or when you're doing the organ, and you're saving animals from the sludge same thing, or even sometimes when you're using runes. But not when it comes to playing regatta come on. And it's always right when you're about to win, it is the most annoying thing ever.

I have been a huge fan of warframe for a while now and remember soulframe as a vague and forthcoming next project from that games original founders. This week to my surprise I found out that soulframe is already in a fully playable state. I was thinking of getting one of the founders packs in order to try it but figured I would ask how people are enjoying it. Is it enjoyable as a grind game or would it be better to wait for now? How does it compare or differ from warframe?

I know Cogah is wyldly unpopular at the moment. But it fixed my biggest gripe with the game, being too low stakes.
I understand wanting a cozy game to play. Especially since SoulFrame is a hug trees, smell flowers kind of game. But infinite lives lower the stakes way too much. When there are no consequences but 10 seconds of fly back (AND enemies even stay dead) the challenges become more of an annoyance.
When a game is fun to play but easy, the goal becomes optimizing the fun out of it. This is the case with Warframe and trust me I've played Warframe for 2.5k hours. I've always felt SoulFrame had incredible potential but feared it would be medieval Warframe. And when in it's easy it is.
Why Cogah Fixes this, in my opinion, is death has real consequences. So you play less risky, slower and obstacles the game throw at you don't feel mere annoyances but potential threats that can overwhelm you if you are not careful.
Of course the current implementation leaves a lot to be desired. It provides too little boons for a mod you can only play in one session (I think it SHOULD stay session based it makes things more interesting but maybe a way to scale enemies faster can be implemented), there are many broken builds that trivialize the challenge etc.
But what I want to say, against the popular opinion, this game NEEDED a hard mode. And the concept of Cogah is really cool.

It let me ride the reinbreakers horse but it broke the entire game. map disappeared ,chat only functioned on menu .
Got to test out how much faster it was then normal running and it was way better then running on foot

It is very easy to find fragments of things that have already been crafted. If it's something rare I can understand that you can craft a copy and trade with it but with something like 30+ fragments of Synod's bell jar there's nothing to do.
I know that in war frame the Harrow chassis blueprint is notorious for being a useless fragment that gets passively accumulated. It would better if at least we could sell extra fragments for dracs or disassemble them for crafting materials.

After numerous attempts at the Vadagar duo it seems that while the drop rates for the armour are reasonable, the drop rates for weapon fragments are horrible.
Even without counting the quite high number of times I only got joineries without boss specific drops, I have so far gotten only one fragment of the royal tines (which instead has dropped whole at least 3-5 times).
Considering that between the tines, the gathannan and the marrow there are 8 total fragments I don't know if I'm just unlucky or need to recalibrate my expectations.
Have you found any particular patterns in the drops from these 2 bosses? (For example spawn location, autonomous night spawn vs votive spawn, normal vs cogah)

I was quite surprised on how well the game runs. Considering it’s still in alpha and the game looks really good too.
There is definitely frame drops and jitters sometimes but ya it’s very minimal and considering the game still has a lot of development time Iam pretty sure it will play more smoother by the time of its release.
How was your experience in the game guys ?
NOTE: I didn’t run this on a super high end system my system uses a ;
RYZEN 7 AI 350 with Radeon 860m
24gb ram ( I can run most of the modern games at 1080p medium and get 60fps )

What is the coolest weapon for y'all personally? In my case, I like how Bog and Myrtle looks. Even if I'm more of a staff user, I still like using it cause I feel powerful :DD pic for attention

I've never played Warframe and understand Soulframe Preludes is basically the pre-alpha of the game that Soulframe will eventually become. I've been told by friends that play Warframe that the mobile client is pretty good for running on their phone.
Do you think that years down the road, after Preludes has wrapped into alpha and that alpha moves into beta/live release, we will get a mobile client for Soulframe like Warframe has?
I would love to play this game on my phone at work (totally just on break only, right?)

I cannot seem to find a consistent way to find more Juniper bows no matter where I look it up.
At first I was told that I had to collect fragments from statues and craft the bow myself but I got the bow as a whole from just the first statue I sang at so that wasn't true at all.And then,I kept finding a few more statues around the map but they dropped some awful versions of the bow.
So my question is,is there any way to get more Juniper bows?I tried looking up each Agari's wiki page but none seem to drop Juniper

Ok, I know it may be a small stupidity, but it's quality of life. Add an option to "remember password" in the game. Maybe for many it's nothing, but I play in a Rog Ally and the truth is that writing is not comfortable at all.
I don't know how strange it can be to request this feature haha I love the home screen, so I wouldn't like an automatic login.

Outside of flyblades, all other sidearms, are just less powerful versions of main weapons. Also flyblades are the only ones which can actually be used to support your main weapon while you use it, instead of just being another weapon you can switch to. They are also very limited in number which makes them all the more forgettable.
It seems then that for all, including flyblades, the greatest use of the sidearms is just to have backup rune charges to kill bosses quicker. This seems like a limited use of something that could instead be expanded on, particularly through exclusive debuffing tempers.
A cool addition would be something like a summoning orb which lets you summon weak allies that however linger if you switch to you main, like spinning flyblades.

So far the only difference between the factions, outside obviously of dialogue, is what items you can buy, which is also the only difference between standing levels.
It would be a more engaging mechanic if there were faction specific votives locked behind a certain standing level. These quests could be both repeatable votives and one time fables that explore the lore of the faction.
It would be better if the faction pacts were unlocked through unique fables like the others instead of just being a point payout. Also Ode tempest should be unique to Silent Rose, as they are defectors who would have access to odn technology. Alca's Children should also have it's own unique flower/summoning themed pact.
A couple QoL additions could be that from the nighthold we could check our standing for all three factions and sell the faction favours without switching allegiance.
Last note, there is no incentive to use the faction areas as social hubs. They are clearly meant to be such since there's Enclave chat and we can see other players. Kith of Kings could be PvP arena, Silent Rose the trading hub and Alca's children have public group dungeons.

I'm new to Warframe, but I played it a bit a few years back, and I have played Soulframe many times.
Besides leveling up all the weapons and pacts, are there plans to make the endgame more interesting than that? Does Warframe have more than that?
Of course, I understand the game is in alpha, but I haven't heard about any system or type of content that isn't just more of what is already there, aside from small additions like fishing and pets. I'm looking for things like better gear you need to grind for, cool skins to unlock, legendary-type gear, long term objectives.
Also, multiplayer will always be like warframe? Just coop for some stuff, or actual random people in the world running around and doing content? Im playing in latin america, theres literally nobody in chat or at the trees/enclaves, i think i saw in chat or as "ghosts" 3 ppl in 100hs. Theres no way to actually know new players and join to play.
Maybe I missed the devs talking about future content and someone can point me to it.
