Correct me if I'm wrong, outside of being a great episode, it establishes Troi's official starfleet rank (which I don't believe had been said before) and also establishes that female officers are addressed as "sir", which I also believe hadn't been established yet.

After star trek tng q who do you think it would have made more sense that when they returned to federation space Picard requested the enterprise get way more weapons upgrades after that Borg encounter?

Youd think after reading picards reports about the Borg Starfleet would have been in panic mode and fill military mode.
