As the question states, the Regula I cave and the Genesis planet (for most of Star Trek III anyway) look positively Edenic and there’s plenty of green foliage that looks pretty Earthlike. Where were these environments getting the types of radiation to look that good?

What did you think about the Abrams warp effects compared to the berman era warp effects?

He and La'an were fused into one person before TOS. It makes sense because La'an's recessive Augment genes are starting to activate, making her stronger and faster than normal.

She then fused with Kirk, which explains her disappearance from TOS.

Kirk isn't as strong or as fast as an Augment, but the fusion gives him enough of a buff that he isn't immediately eviscerated by the Gorn captain in "Arena."

Kelvinverse Kirk and SNW Kirk have no real fighting prowess of their own. They get it from La'an's side.

Commissioned in late 2374 during the height of the Dominion War, the Victory-class (NCC-9754-A) is a heavy solo interdictor prototype engineered for deep-penetration assault missions without fleet support. Merging the angular wedge geometry of the Nova class with the heavily armored, integrated superstructure of the Defiant scaled up to a massive 455 meters, this gunmetal-grey dreadnought sacrifices a hangar bay to maximize internal volume for combat systems. It achieves extreme battlefield survivability through tandem redundant warp cores, a hybrid Klingon-Romulan cloaking device, and thick ablative armor; its offensive profile is defined by quadruple forward pulse phaser cannons and a unique, fuel-hungry "AID" impulse afterburner system that necessitates massive glowing thermal radiator vanes along its spine to vent critical heat.

It showed up in my imagination, then in some fan fiction of mine, some crap-to-decent-quality attempts at videos, MS Paint art to Photoshop art, some old IRL pen-and-paper RPG sessions, more recently, AI-powered RP sessions... and now this.

SNW's puppet episode made a nod to Prime Scotty's future invention of transwarp beaming.

While transwarp beaming was displayed in JJ Abrams movies, that would have been a game-changer in the Prime Timeline.

That should have been standard "magic" transporter beaming in the 32nd century era of DIS and SFA.

People beaming instantaneously from one ship area to another is one thing.

Routine transwarp beaming is another.

However, which century should introduce it?

Like there's a muppet life form in the trek verse.

Is Garak the best character on DS9? He's definitely the best character they didn't intend to have in more than one episode. But Garak came back and kept coming back. This is the production story of how a single-episode, guest character became a fan favorite and anchored what it possibly the series' finest hour.

Seriously, all Picard had to do was jump back to Ten Forward and arrest Soren on the spot, then movie over. Actually he could have jumped back three days earlier and saved his family and then still arrested Soren in Ten Forward. But nope, not strait laced Picard. So he loses his family and his ship.
