If you look up information on the PSL you will see the the organization described as all of the following:

-a party that does a lot

-a party that doesn't actually do a lot

-the best party leftists in the states have available

-a dogshit trotskyist party you shouldn't join

-a healthy community of leftists with flaws

- a straight up cult with rampant abuse that is covered up

You will see former members saying it was fine, and you will see former members saying it was dreadful and that they wish they would have left earlier.

Its so confusing to try and figure out what's going on. Socialism 4 All HATES the PSL for instance. (I think because he is so hardcore anti-revisionist)

I don't like hearing music when I'm at work. Sometimes my coworkers loudly play music in the production floor and break room. I hate it.

Any song I hear at work is ruined for weeks/months because I mentally associate it with my job.

Hyper-individualism

The hyper-individualism of the USA makes it so people don't care if their actions affect other people.

The bourgeoisie wants you to only care about yourself. People are less likely to organize if they only care about themselves.

It seems like social media and news outlets can't stop frothing at the mouth about how Trump's ballroom is desecrating "the people's house" and how he has no right to make those type of renovations and "erase history". The project is 100% a gaudy, likely illegal, idiotic pursuit that we are used to from Trump, but the way so many liberals latch onto and focus on this specific issue with all the other atrocities this country commits on a daily basis is just peak performative outrage over meaningless shit. Let him desecrate that genocidal slaver house! Fuck it, throw in a KFC/Taco Bell combo while you're at it! I honestly just find the whole situation hilarious.
