Rules of r/thetruthishere

Due to an unusual number of rule breaking posts lately, the mod team has decided to make a post reminding everyone of the rules of r/thetruthishere. The sidebar can be difficult to access depending on the app you're using, so this post should make it easier to familiarize yourself with the rules before posting.

  1. All posts MUST be tagged with link flair AND brackets. If you are unsure of how to use flair, please send us a message in modmail

  2. Your post must be of a personal experience or by someone you trust that you believe to be true. This typically means within 2 or 3 degrees of separation (so no mother's friend's husband's cousin stories). All top level posts must have a personal encounter within them, otherwise they will be removed. That means no posts that consist of just a question or link offsite. This also means no AMAs or self promotion without a personal encounter attached. No asking questions just to gather stories for your website or podcast.

  3. NO FICTION, (including creepypasta), CREATIVE WRITING, or SCARY PICTURES. This is a story based sub-reddit, so your post should not be just a picture. Uploading and posting a picture with your post is fine, but posts should not consist solely of image(s) or video.

  4. NO DREAM POSTS - We get it, some dreams and nightmares are deeply disturbing and you want to talk about it, but this isn’t the appropriate sub unless you dreamed something that later came true. You can try posting in r/dreams or r/dreaminterpretation. Posts where you had a dream that later came true are appropriate as this would fall under a premonition rather than simply a dream. This also includes sleep paralysis. Sleep paralysis is well known enough that it does not constitute a paranormal encounter; however, if you see or hear an entity during sleep paralysis that you have encountered outside of it, that would be allowed. Try r/sleepparalysis for information and resources.

  5. Please only downvote anything you believe breaks our main rule: NO FICTION!

  6. If you can draw a rough sketch of the entity, diagram of location, or provide any visual references or proof, DO IT or request an artist to help.

  7. We encourage all perspectives, but we do not tolerate assholes. Report comments that ruin the "safe space" vibe. We aim to provide a space where our users can post without being worried about being ridiculed or derided. This includes making rude comments about the mental health of a poster. You can voice your concern of a mental illness over paranormal phenomenon without being a jerk.

  8. No conspiracy theories unless they relate to the supernatural. There are plenty of other subs to discuss general conspiracy theories, this is not one of them. Posting political conspiracy theories or trying to engage in arguments about them will result in an automatic ban.

  9. No series posts - there is no reason to break up a single encounter or multiple encounters with the same entity into multiple parts. If your post is longer than reddit's character limit for posts, you can post the overflow into a comment.

  10. No promotion - Do not submit posts asking for stories for your youtube channel or podcast. Likewise do not ask to narrate someone's experience in the comments. You must PM OP instead.

If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to send us a message in modmail.

Guidelines

These are pretty much an extension of our rules, but they are less rigorously followed:

  1. Please use paragraphs of a max 5 sentences to break up your wall of text. We like detail, but we don't like eye-sores.

  2. We allow debunking, speculations, and theories. We not only allow it, but we encourage it, so stop downvoting these people!

  3. Whilst we encourage you to try to spell correctly and punctuate your story, you don't have to worry about your writing skills!

  4. Please be considerate as some encounters may be traumatizing to the poster.

  5. Proof. Please provide it if you can. If you cannot, please include diagrams, photographs, and visual aid instead of paragraphs of description.

  6. Please title your story with something other than "I was told to post this here." That tells us nothing about what you are going to share, and makes it very difficult to search for your story if we want to read it again.

  7. If you can tell us a general, even vague, location of your encounter, it will help us archive it based on area.

  8. You are going to use a fake name or not. We don't care, just give them a name. Don't use "A" or "J" or "We'll call her Susan." That gets grating.

Common Grievances Expressed by the Community

Why do we have so many rules and guidelines? Because we want good content, and we want your story to be heard. In a nutshell, here are the things most people complain about which will prevent you from getting overlooked if you listen.

  1. Redditors don't read long posts. After you write out your story, locate your important sentences and delete 2/3rd of the original. Add back in a single sentence between cuts to make your writing flow.

  2. Redditors don't like walls of text. After you condense your story, make sure you have paragraphs that rarely exceeds 3 sentences.

  3. If you feel your story doesn't sound believable, then we probably won't either.

  4. Include visual references. If your story is long, cut out those descriptive paragraphs. Instead of talking about the area, show us a picture and briefly point out what's of note. Instead of describing your house layout, draw a diagram. Instead of going into detail about the physical characteristics of the entity, draw it out or request an artist to do so.

  5. Have an interesting and memorable title. Your encounter may remind someone of another, and they usually try to be helpful and link it. That would be hard with titles like "i was told to post this here" or "this is the scariest thing that ever happened to me" Instead, a title like "a man with a claw grinned at me" or "The shadows followed me for years and then it spoke" Plus, what would you rather click on?

  6. If you are seeking the truth, location is going to be an important detail that is often overlooked. You don't have to give out your city, but a state, region, country, etc are very useful in being pointed in the right direction.

  7. Again, the names thing. We can all assume you will use a fake name, so don't disrupt immersion to tell us it's fake.

Edit: Added in the guidelines and community grievances which can be found in our wiki

Edit 2: updated rule 4

Paranormal Investigation Has anyone else had their dreams invaded by a Jinn?

I'll try to make this lengthy story as short as possible. It was the late 90's, suburban Chicagoland, I was 19 or 20. I went to bed like any other evening. I awoke into a dreamscape that was insanely vivid. You know, that "more real than real life" feeling, that some people experience. I was on the steps of an old castle, ivy was growing down from the highest towers, it was stormy (rain, thunder, lightning), although it seemed like I wasn't getting hit by any drops of rain. Halfway up these steps was a glowing scroll with writing I had never seen before, however, it was clearly a magic spell pf some sort. So, I grabbed it and proceeded to the top of the steps. The steps led to an archway opening to the roof of the castle. The roof was a stunning chessboard made from what looked like the finest marble ever cut. I looked up and standing directly in the center of this board was a giant dark figure in a full body, metal suit of armor, complete with terrifying shuttered helmet with horns. He was, by my estimation, at least 8' tall. I could not make out a face, however, he had two eyes fiercely glowing red behind the helmet.

I asked, "Who are you?" It responded, not by speaking though, this was more like telepathy. He said, without emotion, "I am Jinn". I then asked, "What do you want with me?". He seemed to think about the question while staring right through my soul. I need to stress, he was not looking AT me, I could feel him, looking THROUGH me, like looking at the fundamental building blocks of who I am. After what seemed like an eternity in those few moments, he just disappeared with a giant flash of lightning and the thunderous clap of that strike woke me up and it was over. This dream left quite the impression on me, but I haven't even told you the F'n CRAZY part yet.

The CRAZY part is that I had no idea that when he "told" me that he was Jinn, I thought that was his name, not the name of the type of being he was. I had never heard of Jinn, or any of their mythology. I honestly figured that my video game playing, overactive imagination having self, invented some really cool "boss-fight" that got cut short. It wasn't until YEARS later when the internet took off and I stumbled across someone talking about a Jinn and my stomach dropped. I remember saying to myself out loud in shock/amazement, "You mean that thing was REAL?!?!"

You tell me, chat, what are the odds of my brain inventing the name "Jinn" for a character that closely resembles the folklore of these creatures??

Anyone else have a similar experience??

Paranormal Investigation the lady in black

hello! this is a true sorry that happened to me around 2011-12? (I was around 4-5 years old) so to begin my mom took a trip to Puerto Rico (i was not with her) and during my mom stay, I remember her telling me that a random lady came up to her and put her hands above my mom‘s head, kind of like in a circle motion (not to sure) but I recently asked my mom what does she think happened and she claims that she was cursed. A little bit after my mom came back from her trip. Things around the house started to be different. this one particular night I was sleeping in my room and I randomly woke up with like a deep sense of something not right and I was so young so a bit confused. So I hid it underneath my blanket. Just wear my eyes can peek from the covers so I can see. This lady dressed in all black came from my TV kind of like the movie the ring. Then she slowly walks into my pitch black closet. I just remember being so terrified. I honestly don’t remember what happened after that. All I know is that my mom used sage on the closet shortly after me telling her. I was just so young and terrified. **I’ve been looking on the Internet to see if anyone has the same story related to me or seen the lady in Black**. I just want answers and I want to know who and what did I see that night?

Occult Berserk

Hello everyone... There was a form of chaos Magic that I went through in June of this year. The Deputy Sheriff used Norse Magic and went berserk on me. He started yelling at me but it was so amplified that my body went into shock. I shape shifted in the Patrol Car. I had no control over it. But he continued to drive at very high speeds. The G forces were pushing me back into the seat until I shape shifted. The creature I shape shifted into was not human. I was about 4 feet tall if that. That Deputy knew what he was doing. Towards the end of the ride I was switching back and forth. Little to big, Big to small.. I was also twitching. I couldn't walk that good after either. It took me about a week to feel normal again. This took place in Victorville California and he was a San Bernardino Sheriff's Deputy.

Discussion/Advice The White Fox Experience

This happened years go when I was in college, my sister was going to pick me up and she parked a couple blocks away. On my way to her car the feeling of a white fox came to mind. I chalked it up to my own imagination. You know those moments, where either you're not thinking of anything and just making your way from point A to point B or your imagination kicks in to entertain you because you're bored.

Well, the feeling of a white fox turned into a pestering one. In fact, the feeling turned into an overly affirming one, as if a white fox was definitely on the way and I was on my way to meet it. So, I get into my sister's car, and she hands me a gift bag. She tells me "I got you something and don't complain about it" and I replied "I think I know what it is".

I reach into the bag and feel a handle, I pull it out, the handle was in the shape of a white tail and the mug that it was connected to was fully designed to look like a white fox, with the pointed ears, a nose and everything. My sister had gotten herself a red fox mug for herself. We had these mugs for a while until they chipped and broke. They were our favorite mugs. I just think it's cool that this is my own specific personal story that happened to me. It didn't feel scary that it happened at all because there was no eerie feeling to it. One of those neat intuitive specific moments. 🦊✨️

Discussion/Advice Was this clairvoyance?

THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO ME BEFORE. I learnt was clairvoyance was AFTER this. I was sitting by a school, when out of nowhere my head felt really heavy and as if there was a tight bowl stuck on my head. Random I know. I started hearing people talking. A woman said “little Susie” and a few other things I couldn’t quite make of. She then got agitated and said “where is my knowledge”
“Where is little Susie” “little Susie do you remember” I started asking questions, she answered “we had to fly” “she was scared” something about an aeroplane? Wtf???? I got up and walked home.

Floating island

When I was in elementary school, I remember one afternoon we were playing in the playground with my friends and at one point we looked up at the sky and saw a kind of floating island with what looked like pieces of land floating around.

I've searched for a long time online for information or for someone who has seen something similar, but all I've found are similar old myths.

Discussion/Advice Did I come in contact with something?

So this story is about 3 years old now, but still so freshly burned into my head.

As an aspiring therapist, one of my favorite psychologists is Carl Jung, and when I began learning about psychology, I studied a lot of Jung. I eventually studied his idea of the shadow. These sort of subconscious thoughts, feelings, or desires that we suppress or are not even aware of that dectiate and control a lot of our lives, etc. Normal psyche stuff

I remember one night, I was alone in my pitch black room, whole family asleep, and I tried thinking about my shadow or repressed thoughts. A lot of childhood stuff started coming to me, personal stuff, and whatnot, and I started getting emotional thinking about it and began crying.

I remember as I lay in bed crying, I felt something hard press against my back, and I reached down to see what it was, and I was just laying on my phone. So I put my phone on this desk by the side of my bed, and about 5 seconds after doing this, I heard my phone get flung across the room.

Since I was so emotional when this happened, it didn't really register what just occurred. So I got up from my bed, and I was able to find my phone in the dark and place it back again on my desk. Again, about 2 seconds later, I hear my phone flung across my room

When I finally realized what had happened, I don't think I've ever been that scared in my entire life. I literally resorted back into being a little kid and hid under my blankets. In that moment, all I did was pray to Christ till I eventually fell asleep.

To this day, I honestly don't know what that was. My desk is a normal flat desk, and there was no one else in my room. Nothing like has happened since then, but I still think about this time from time.

Paranormal Investigation Was it 0NLY ONE thing that made you a Believer..?

I’m wondering IF people would share one thing that INSTANTLY made them believe in the supernatural?

I don’t mean ya only believe because you grew up with this tradition and later on reasoned that it was true OR that there was one little thing then another & another till finally you were pushed over the edge into belief -I mean was there a time you were completely disinterested or even actively sceptical and then something happened that just changed EVERYTHING?

Also, if you are willing, would you share that story?

Haunted Building Anyone on the job experience things you couldn’t explain?

Thumbnail
2 Upvotes

I don’t believe in “ghosts.” I mean, idk what I believe, but I know some weird stuff goes on.

I worked at the World Trade Center post-9/11 and there are endless stories. I had a door slam after my helper and I walked into a BOH room off a stairwell. Cut a 90° turn, walked 5ft and the door slammed.

Both fire pump rooms are just uncomfortable. Could be because you’re basically in the “backrooms” and there is almost no light. The gen plant is weird too. Not a comfortable place. That’s where one of the helpers saw the “burning man.”

Guy was working overnight doing his rounds, and he saw a guy on fire walking towards him in between the generators. They sit in series, so it’s basically like aisles at a supermarket. It sounds crazy, but he called all three assistant chiefs and chief at 4am, frantic. Even put in a report to the company.

So, who knows..

Anyone in law enforcement or who served seen anything that couldn’t be explained?

So basically when I was younger I went to this Christian camp you know we talked about god got close to each other yk things like that but everytime I went there something weird would happen I don’t remember all of them but I definitely remember this one so one night me and the girls was going to stay up because we all was feeling the weird energy for example earlier that day the door kept opening to the outside now mind u where in cabins and the door was like one of them metal emergency doors so it led outside when me and all the girls was in the room by ourselves the door kept opening and shutting and soon as we called the staff to come and watch for herself it just stopped so that’s why we all planned to stay up what I thought was weird timing was how when I went to sleep everyone was sleep as well and when I woke up everyone was woke now the way I was sleeping I was facing the wall on the top bunk and I guess I woke up from the girls laughing or something so I turned my head to face the other beads and that’s when I saw it a pale short girl not women a girl like maybe 10-11 years old freckles not all over just on the nose and a little near the eyes well she didn’t have any eyes or eyebrows or a nose or a mouth her hair was long kinda curly Burnette orange ish and she had a white Annabelle looking dress on and I saw her for like a split 5 seconds and then I screamed loud like so loud the staff came in they asked me what’s was wrong and I told them they manipulated me into telling me I didn’t see anything so I just went with it and then after that day I never saw her again. Was this my spirit guide? If so why does she look like that like she’s not ugly or anything it’s just she looks scary

Discussion/Advice You ever got a feeling telling you not to go into a room in your own house?

Last night i was going into my bedroom which I’ve done thousands of times before, but this time though when i went to turn the door handle i got a feeling that something was going to jump out at me or something scary would happen.

I got out my phone and started recording, and slowly opened the door, filming around the corner.

Absolutely nothing was different or scary, the only new things in my room are my imitation cowhide and my brothers new old hifi amp.

I watched the video over and over again to see if anything moved or if there was any strange shadows but i couldn't see anything, i suspect the presence i felt was my late cat, who passed away back in July, shortly after he passed away i saw a non-descript black blob on my bedroom floor, and my mom said she has seen something black and cat sized materialize out of thin air and walk up the stairs.

He was the sort of cat to randomly jump out and attack you in his prime, at least before he got ill in the last few months so that jumpscare feeling i got would make sense if it was the cat.

I also think i may have heard my rocking chair moving by itself a few weeks ago, my cat loved sitting in that chair in the last few days before he passed, he developed a real love for it.

Psychics/Mediums Story of an Indian yogi (as narrated to me by my mom)

My mom told me this story.

Mom had a school friend who happened to stay in the same building as my mom. So naturally both of them were quite good friends. Her father was searching for a job. One day he recieved an interview call from a company and so decided to attend to it. He took a bus to the interview and while travelling to the place, a yogi/brahmin was sitting besides him.

They exchanged greetings and talked a bit about family and stuff. However when his stop had almost arrived the father got up and thats when the yogi warned him "You seem to have an important task ahead of you. If you succeed in this task, the next 15 days will be the happiest and peaceful days of your life. However, if you donot succeed, the days to come will be difficult to say the least."

The interview did not go well. They rejected him and he came home and narrated this story to the family.

After a few days he started feeling sickly. The illness progressively became more and more severe to the point where he was now bedridden.

He died on 15th day. My mom told me the name of the illness that he died of, I vaguely remember her saying it was jaundice but I am not sure. A few details could be wrong, as my mom herself was in school. This story had become quite popular in the neighborhood.

This could be a case of a nocebo effect(although i doubt a nocebo effect can cause a disease/illness), or that there were symptoms of illness that yogi picked up on. But it is a fascinating story to say the least.

Discussion/Advice When I was 7 I saw something I’m still not able to explain.

One night in December When I was 7 years old I was just sitting in my bedroom playing a game, my older brother had just left my room and had gone upstairs to sit with our grandmother, I was killing time before dinner was ready. It was just us 3 in the house at this time, my dad worked nights so he wouldn’t be home until tomorrow morning at the earliest, and my mom worked as nurse and she’d be home later tonight.

I remember the sun was almost completely faded it was close to being fully dark out. I don’t know why i remember this so vividly but the game I was playing was fallout 3 (don’t ask why I was allowed to play it.) I was running around near these radio towers shooting the “hunting rifle” at the enemies at the top of them, after I killed them I remember I opened a door in game that lead to a solid brick wall with the words “FUCK YOU” written on it.

Just after I opened that door in my game I heard my mom walking towards my bedroom, I turned my head away from my game and saw her still wearing her dark blue work scrubs, my door was wide open and she stood at the doorframe and talked to me for a few minutes, just normal mom questions, “how are you doing?” “You just in here playing a game” etc, eventually at the end of our conversation she said “dinners almost ready come upstairs in 45 minutes” i said I would.

I go back to playing for awhile, ransacking the area near those radio towers, and then continuing to just roam around the “capital wasteland” eventually 45 minutes had passed and I listening to what my mom said I stood up and started to walk upstairs.

I walked up the first 10 stairs, turned left and started to walk up the last 10 stairs, I could see the light from kitchen past the stairs and to the right but all the others on that level were off with the exception of the light at the front door. as I got to 3/4 point I noticed something strange on the wall to my right and I stopped. at that age I don’t think I could verbalize to myself why it was strange but I remember my child brain took a very serious note of this even if I didn’t know why then.

Thinking back to this, my shadow looked far to tall and far to large to be 7 year old me, I didn’t realize this at the time as I said previously, but it was now fully night out and all the lights were off except for in the kitchen, and by the front door, neither of those lights could possibly be responsible for casting anyones shadow on the wall to my right let alone mine. But this didn’t freak me out at the time, I knew something was off about it and I took note but I didn’t understand what. After a good 15-20 seconds staring at the shadow I continued up the stairs and walked into the kitchen where my grandmother and brother sat. As soon as she saw me my grandmother told me “dinners finished.”

I asked them both
“I didn’t see mom on my way up, is she up here somewhere?”

My grandmother told me
“Your mom isn’t home yet.”

I explain to them I had just talked to her 45ish minutes ago, I had a full conversation with her, she even told me when to come up, but my grandma continued telling me “ your mom hasn’t come home from work yet.” And my brother backed her up. I walked to the garage door and opened it, neither my father’s car or my mothers car were there they were telling the truth.
She was not home.

The way the house was laid out required you to after entering immediately pass through the kitchen, there was no chance my mom could’ve come home without them both immediately noticing, and even if she for some reason wanted to try to sneak by them, an alarm beeped anytime any door in the house was opened.

I was 7 years old and really fucking scared, my grandmother did her best to calm me down but I was obviously really spooked. Eventually 1-2 hours after this my mom did actually come home, and I asked her “ did you come by home earlier” she didn’t.

I saw, I heard, and I spoke to something tangible that day, I fucking know that I did, It wore my mom’s Face but it couldn’t have been her. What the fuck was speaking to me.

This situation has bothered me for years. I’m in my early twenties now and I still have no clue what happened that night. I remember it far too vividly and far to detailed to just be a dream, my dreams are not like that. I’ve always had a very active imagination but not like that, not like that at all, this situation is so many steps past these explanations, I literally remember the exact movements i took in my game while I was talking to my “mom” I remember seeing her blue scrubs, I remember how she stood close to the left half of the doorframe while speaking to me but never entering my room or coming any closer than that to me, I remember speaking to her. I remember her telling me to come up in 45 minutes, I remember the impossible shadow.

Let me know if you have any questions, I’ll do my best to answer them all, thank you for reading. And please if you have any explanation or information, please comment.

Discussion/Advice A few experiences

I’ve had a few experiences throughout my life and honestly don’t know where to turn for advice or guidance. When I was 13, I woke up suddenly on the couch burning up, with a bad headache and a feeling of pure terror. I heard footsteps walking in the hallway, but when I turned the light on nobody was there, only for the footsteps to start right back up once I turned it off. The next day, my mom—who has the gift of speaking with passed loved ones—told me it was my Uncle Kenny, who had died a couple of days before. She told him to cross over because he was scaring me, but before he left, he told her that my grandma would survive a massive heart attack and later get cancer in both breasts, which happened down to the exact detail (she even floated over her body while doctors revived her three times). Years later, a week before my grandma passed, I saw three owls land on a wooden post at a park staring right at me with an awful feeling of dread. Then, two weeks before my cousin died, I kept hearing owls hooting at night while having this deep, weird anxiety that something was completely off, which instantly vanished the moment I got the news.
The most recent thing happened just a few weeks ago while I was laying in bed about to sleep. After checking a phone notification, I turned over and closed my eyes, but I could clearly see my whole room and whatever was playing on the TV as if my eyes were wide open. I opened them to check, shut them tightly again, and the exact same thing happened, which freaked me out enough that I just stayed on my phone to distract myself. For context, I’ve listened to binaural beats for relaxation and healing for about ten years, but I’ve never really looked into any of this stuff until now. I know this is a lot, but I’m really lost on what any of these signs and experiences actually mean, so any perspective or guidance would be appreciated.

HELP! IT'S HERE! Dwarves possessing loved one’s body, attempts to drown her

Hi everyone, I’m not sure if this is the right sub but I’m just gonna post here.

I need help with a loved one’s situation. She’s being possessed by 7 dwarves. Whenever they enter her body, she’s fainting at first and acting different. She becomes childish and wants to go somewhere else, particularly jump into a nearby lake. We know it’s not her cause we ask her for her name / our name and she can’t say it. The only we can make her come back is by lighting incense sticks and letting her touch a bullet. She has no recollection of any of this happening when she comes back. (Instead, she says she went somewhere and walked a long time or swam somewhere)

This all began last january, where someone put a hex on her and we got her to a faith healer, and she successfully removed that hex. But 6 months later, this july something else came back and this time it’s 7 dwarves and apparently a black man. We went to the spiritist and she did her thing, but this is still happening. It didn’t work on her. She experiences this usually three days in a week, and multiple times within the day.

She told us that they are threatening her that they will take her away if she doesn’t let them into her body. She says she feels relieved only when they come in and out of her body.

It’s really a struggle for us, we can’t leave her alone. Especially when she’s fainting / roaming when alone. They said the dwarves call her their princess.

Aside from the incense sticks, bullet, and a talisman that she wears all the time that the spiritist gave, we have nothing else. It happens when it happens and we just cope her with it. I’s getting more frequent. She jumps on a body of water and they seem to try to drown her / kill her.

Do you have any advice on how to deal with this? Are there any entities/spirits I can summon who can fight these entities, without any drawbacks. I’m pretty much open and desperate for anything.

I used to try to summon the spirit Beleth before btw, but I got no response.

TLDR. Loved one gets possessed by dwarves, controls her to roam around or drown herself. Only comes back when we light incense sticks or make her hold a bullet, and has zero recollection of what she just did. Help me find a solution, or if there are other entities I can summon who can help without drawbacks.

Aliens/UFOs They saw it. I connected with it

One day, I was really high on bud. I went into my room and stood quietly in the middle of it. I looked up toward the ceiling and slowly lifted my arms.
In my mind, I saw a UFO hovering above me, as if it were just on the other side of the ceiling. At that moment, I felt a powerful connection—something deep and intense that I couldn’t explain. I didn’t understand what was happening, but I could feel that something about the moment was different.
Then, suddenly, my brother and my cousin, who I had been smoking with, came running into my room.
They looked terrified.
I could see the fear in their eyes before they even said a word.
They told me they had just seen a UFO. According to them, there was a strange ball of colors underneath the ship. They said the colors were unlike anything they had ever seen before.
I stood there listening to them, completely stunned.
I never told them what I had been doing or what I had experienced in that room. I didn’t tell them about the connection I had felt or about the UFO I had seen in my mind.
I kept it to myself because I knew they probably wouldn’t believe me.
But to this day, I still think about that moment.
Because while they were outside looking up at something they couldn’t explain, I had been standing inside that room, looking up at the ceiling—and somehow, I felt connected to the exact same thing.
