Sunken Harbour Club, Brooklyn, NYC, New York
We finally made it to Sunken Harbour Club before leaving NYC . Arrived around opening time and ended up waiting an hour and 45 minutes to get inside(wandered around the neighbourhood and did other stuff till they texted). I had a rum barrel, a donkey conga, and a mai tai. My wife had a noble pursuit and 2 star cycles(she really liked that one). All our drinks were great. The theming and music were also well very done. And we stayed and drank till they kicked us out. It's definitely got a more traditional tiki bar feel than Paradise Lost( I'd still be hard pressed to pick a favourite as both were so well executed for different reasons)

Lime sizes recently.
Is everyone else finding the lines to be about the size of a golf ball everywhere? These don’t even look like they would have a 1/2 oz of juice in them. Is there something going on with the crops this year like drought or something else affecting them?

Los Angeles Times Piece on Donn Beach
How a Hollywood bootlegger invented tiki culture (and basically became the “Walt Disney of rum”) — LA Times profile of the doc “The Donn of Tiki,” on Donn Beach and how his tiki bar spawned an entire movement.
Wedding leftovers
What would you make?
Assume there's a well enough stocked bar other than these bottles

Any tiki spots I should visit in New Orleans?
I will be visiting NOLA for a Raiders game in late September. This is my 4th time going, and I’ve done all the usual tourist stuff, and I don’t need to visit Bourbon Street again. Thanks in advance everybody! Take care.

Rum Punch - Breaker's Roar, St. Croix
It's an amazing grapefruit and lime bomb on the front that trails into a maraschino and lemon after-taste. I saw the bartender cut the rum with vodka though which seems a little odd but still great

Witco restoration advice
Hello everyone, I just found this at an antique store today for insanely cheap but as you can see someone had painted it previously and didn’t really take care of it. I’m looking for advice on how to restore it properly. I sent an email to pleasant tiki for advice but I thought I would come on here and see if anyone had any ideas. I did see from a YouTube video that she recommends Howard feed and wax but I’m curious about removing the paint without ruining the iconic wood grain. Thank you

Food near Undertow (Gilbert) ?
I'm heading to Undertow in Gilbert in a few weeks. Can anyone recommend a good place to eat before I down some drinks? Ideally it would be nearby the bar so I can just slip right over.
Thanks!

Limin' Lounge in The Colony, TX
Anyone ever been here? Looks questionable as I look at the menu. I wonder how strict they are about their "only drinks on the menu" rule. My buddy and I are going to check it out on Thursday. I'm setting the bar low but wondering if anyone here has checked it out.
