Collection My first Tool CD!

This sober CD is the first in my collection from tool, and probably a weird place to start.

It's most definitely a bootleg, the matrix number isn't even directly printed on the back but instead the CD art. I don't mind it, Im happy I got it.

The order that I decided to collect tool CD is probably weird, because I think many would start on one of their major albums or lateralus specifically, but I straight up ordered opiate. Or some probably would buy undertow since it would be in chronological order then.

Maybe some have the promo cassette which is actually really cool, but I don't think there's much that can be found.

I'm planning to save up to get the proper lateralus CD, I really want that cover and booklet.

This isn't actually a bootleg. This was released in Europe only and has what was originally a bootleg "tales from the darkside" attached to it after the sober single. This is a very solid and legit collectable, unlike actual bootlegs.

This is definitely a collectable but im not in Europe so there's just a good chance it's a copy of the original CD.

Possible but it looks legit. I have this too somewhere, I picked my copy up around the year 2000

Alright, I checked it out and checked twice. Turns out my panic was for nothing. It's just that most CDs that I order are most commonly bootlegs or unofficial releases. Either this one is the real deal in crazy good condition or just a really good copy. I feel a little idiotic

I got in touch with the seller, they told me that production was in russia. However it came in some sort of factory wrap, so whatever it is I'm just glad it's good quality

Great start for collecting, the cd art is probably one of the best in my opinion

I agree, the art on this one is pretty interesting to look at without feeling like you're solving a cosmic theory
