I feel like Skullmageddon’s design is so wonderfully over the top that it perfectly captures the 80s feel the game goes for. Almost reminds me of a Power Rangers villain (I know that show started in the 90s, but design philosophies for fantastical villains didn’t change much between the 80s and 90s).

I really love terminator plate in Warhammer 30k . It's bulky exaggerated proportions shoulder chest plates etc gives it this heroic quality like some kind of ancient temple guardian. This really helps to communicate the durability of the armour looks heavy and indestructible. In Terms of its base design it looks almost like a sci fi interpretation of an old diving suit, giant armoured shells bulky life support equipment cables etc. but on top of that you've got lots of historical influences the armoured cowl above the helmet looks like a Gothic arch, the shoulder plates and lower torso have Roman leather Pteruges strips.

I always loved King initial design, covered all in black and with that intimidating mask throu which he intensely stares at you. With his unmasked design he looks like a generic hot/sexy bad guy to me, and something about it feels off...

Judge Holden is the main antagonist of Cormac McCarthy's 1985 horror/thriller crime and anti-Western epic novel Blood Meridian.

He is described as nearly 7 feet tall (2.13 m) and completely lacking body hair, including eyebrows and eyelashes. He is massive in frame, enormously strong, an excellent musician and dancer, a fine draftsman, exceptionally articulate and persuasive in several languages, and an unerring marksman.

His skin is so pale it has almost no pigment. This strange appearance, along with his keen, extremely fast reflexes, strength, agility, apparent immunity to sleep and aging, and multifarious other abilities psuggests he issomething other than a normal human. In the final pages of the novel, McCarthy makes more direct reference to the Judge as a supernatural entity, or even as a concept personified.

I love this design as soon as I saw it. I love her leaf like hair and her more darker colors to her, and her eyes look so good as well. This is probably my favorite PVZ OC design by a landslide, and I already made like 2 fanarts of her. I wish I can show you guys, but I don't want to break a rule in this sub in some way just to be safe.

i am such a massive speculative biology nerd and these are so goddamn cool i adore the details of stuff like the wings mostly looking like modified arms and hands because that's absolutely how a mammal or reptile would evolve wings (see: bats) and all of the indepth lore about their biologies and behaviors and cultures and how much they just feel like real world animals that could feasibly exist and aaaaaaaaaghhh theyre just so COOL

Honorary mention to the designs of the familiars/monsters as well they are also some of the sickest specbio stuff ive ever seen

But seriously, though. Ooccoo is a very strange yet friendly race of chicken things that show up in dungeons and live in the City in the Sky. Link's face says it all.

They hide in pots and they act like a warp point in case you need to leave a dungeon. Despite its extremely weird design, she's one of the friendliest characters.

And funny story. On my first playthrough of TP, I somehow completely missed ever seeing Ooccoo in the dungeons. So I had no idea about them until she shows up outside the Temple of Time to help you on your quest. I was like "....what the fuck??"

Zeth nailed it with these designs, especially Garchomp with golisopods stone. I really love those four wings and horns. Using Gore Magala was nice too. Falinks looks a like some sort of bike imo.

For designs that are supposed to feel like simple, fun & classic cartoon/comic villains I think most of these designs hold up. I love how Man Ray uses a Ray Gun, & how the other villains use their abilities & how it fits into their theme.

Yeah, out of the female characters in Wuthering Waves: Fleurdelys is definitely my favorite, tall, elegant and beautiful with a great design, PLUS she's a Boss Character you can play as too.

Though her Dawn Arrives Trailer PISSED me off, its like HELLO, she saved you from a Tsunami and you ungrateful people treat her like a monster.

PLus she's another stoic and mature woman I love too.

Out of all the the versions of Morgan Le Fay ive seen, Fate Grand Order is the best BY FAR and my favorite is her Stage 2.

Also I just LOVE how she's not really villain, but has a tragic backstory and even loves the MC, Gudao and wants to be his wife too.

Plus im a huge sucker for stoic and mature female characters too.

Also for me, I think Fate, Xenoblade and Final Fantasy has the some of best and top tier designs in fiction, because there so creative.

So, I'll start with the design in a vacuum. This is - in my opinion - one of the best iterations of the "child born cursed" trope. He strikes that perfect balance between body horror monster and "just a lil' guy." The face and arm are the most striking aspects of the design, and they are both well executed. A 20-foot arm has a nice whimsy to it while the face, twisted strangely, is genuinely startling. It is, as I said previously, a nice balance between fairytale and horror story. Beyond that, the little hand sprouting out of his face and hunchback just tie it together extremely well. And if you didn't notice it, there's a subtle nod to Michael Jackson when he dons his prosthetic arm for a performance; it is covered with a white glove. At least I assume that's an intentional homage given how many MJ-inspired moves Inu-Oh uses during that sequence.

And now let's move on to my favorite part... the way he moves. I absolutely love how lively it is, and I especially enjoy how much it incorporates Inu-Oh's physiology into the choreography; even when he's wearing a disguise, his lanky limbs are put to use (which you can see better in the full video). Sure, it's a little goofy, but it's goofy in a very charismatic way; it essentially abandons the slightly unnerving surface to show you Inu-Oh's very human soul. I can see why so many people in-universe got horny for him after a single performance (though I'm sure the excessive hip thrusts and scantily-clad opener helped).

Yeah, I love Gilgamesh from Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, because he's like a perfect evolution of his designs, also I love his design in Dissidia, and FF13 too.

BTW, I HATE his FF15 design, because he looks like just like a samurai with one arm.

Also im REALLY hyped for him to come back in Final Fantasy VII Revelations.

Also I prefer his Gilgamesh more then his Fate version.

They are a mix matched of a ton of other sci fi big body aliens but I like them a lot

Yeah, I love Omega Weapon from Final Fantasy VII Dirge of Cerberus, because so its unique and different looking, also I love its Final Form in FF14 and FF16 too.

BTW, I would LOVE to see Omega as a bonus Superboss in Final Fantasy VII Revelations.

Yeah, Kaido from One Piece is the type of villain I love a lot, big, intimidating with a lot of detail on him, plus a Dragon Form is a good bonus too.

Its the same reason why I love Z Broly so much.

Also Kaido, Blackbeard and Imu are my favorite One Piece Villains by a long shot.

The fact her scythe is electric, and can turn into a rifle, is so cool in my opinion.

Not to mention her outfit is REALLY awesome and creative, and the fact she has a mechanical arm is a really cool detail.

She really fits her personality in my opinion.

I LOVE this design, possibly my favorite iteration of a cyclops despite its simplicity

What I really love about it and why I think it belongs is the fact that this cyclops has a lot of elephant like features

The reason this is awesome to me is because Elephant skulls throughout history have been mistaken for cyclops skulls due to the trunk hole looking like an eye socket and to take that fun like fact and incorporate it into the cyclops is a lovely attention to detail

Looking at the cyclops here it has elephant like feet, skin, and tusks

All in all, I adore this design
