Storm overview

This discussion is for Tropical Storm Edouard (05L), which is active over the northern Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Louisiana. Edouard is expected to gradually strengthen as it moves west-northwestward toward the coast of southeastern Texas, where it will make landfall on Tuesday afternoon. Edouard is expected to bring heavy rain to portions of eastern Texas and southern Louisiana over the next few days.

This discussion is for Tropical Storm Krovanh (22W), which is active to the over the northern Philippine Sea to the southeast of Japan’s Ryukyu Islands.
