Sup streamers.
Let me just say that I never expected the channel to grow, bring any money in, just started streaming out of curiosity. Reasons aside, I feel like no matter what drove one to do ANYTHING we all love to see some progress. And I can safely admit, that I am somewhat proud of how both the graphs look like ( even tho I had one big raid in August which screws a bit with the data ).
I've learned a shit ton of new skills just to keep this small endeavour up and running. Thankfully I already had some experience with digital art, so I could prep a lot of things myself. But this is the level of micromanagement I had no idea stands behind almost every stream. And if an obscure channel as mine requires this plenty, can't imagine how much work is put behind the colossuses out there. I will just say I have learned a great deal of respect, no matter how big or small the streamer is.
What helped me the most was networking though. Actually engaging with other streamers around my size, making friends, connections, trying to become a part of the community. It all brought fruit of both knowledge and new viewers of my own.
Small as is, for me it is a huge success, helped me beat the social anxiety, dug me out of my comfort zone and taught me a shit ton. And I did it while also working full time 5 days a week. Let it be a comfort for all of us, that if I did it, so can you. Just prevail a little.
I will prolly see you for a yearly summary if all goes well :)
Until then o7

I made a similar post about this before several months ago asking for advice on this issue, apparently I pissed someone off and they feel the need to mess up my account , I’ve been going through this issue for like 4 months now and it’s not getting better I get high view counts and now chatters.. maybe like 5 or 7 maximum but my chat is very dead for 80-90 viewers I keep thinking maybe it’s lurkers but surely for such a high view count more people would be chatting, I don’t think this is normal at all any help?
I tried using sery bot I tried contacting twitch and all I get back is some AI response saying to basically ignore it which I have done , I turned off my view count and don’t look at stats but then I keep getting people coming in accusing me of view botting and it’s just such a buzzkill is there anyone else that’s gone through this? How did you resolve it

I only just started my streaming journey, and tonight I did a little collab with a new friend. It went really well!!

Hey everyone,
Been having some trouble finding high quality and personable artists that are happy to go the extra mile to chat and discuss exactly the goal I have in mind for the work.
I want to progressively add emotes, make stream overlays, and update my avatar among other things but I can't seem to find someone who fits the bill on typical fiverr/Vgen etc
Am I missing how to search for them on those sites?
Are there better ways to step up in quality?
Im not looking to just get them all done and dusted, I want time and care which is obviously more expensive but I can't find the middle step between Vgen and multi-thousand dollar commitment...
Any advice?
Cheers everyone!

I am decently fresh ish. I used to stream incredibly sporadic but since I got laid off I been doing it daily and got to Affiliate decently quick I think
Then I noticed I had an invite to a Twitch Team that seems somewhat big? But the email went to my “Promotions” tab and I missed it and the invite expired
I did not even know about the existence of these Teams, what does that mean to me? Should I have FOMO or just relax about it?

I mainly just want to talk to people from all around the world and meet some new people.
How hard is it to get started with streaming while staying faceless? I was thinking of using a PNG/avatar or something similar. I’d mostly want to chat, watch YouTube and react to things, play games sometimes, and just hang out with people.
How’s the discoverability on Twitch? Is it actually worth getting into, or am I just going to end up talking to myself for hours?

Hi everyone,
I’m currently setting up monetization on my Twitch account. I’m 23 years old and entered my correct legal name and date of birth.
When I go to Monetization → Setup → Monetized Streamer Agreement, Twitch requires me to accept a Parent Consent statement before I can submit the setup.
The statement says:
Obviously, I’m not a minor, so I can’t truthfully accept this.
Has anyone else had this issue recently? Is this a bug, or is there some additional age/ID verification I need to complete first?
I’ve already contacted Twitch Support, but I wanted to see if anyone here has experienced the same thing and knows how to fix it.

One of the biggest things I’ve learned from streaming is you don’t have to limit yourself to what Twitch or Streamlabs gives you.
We built a private Stream Hub where viewers can track their stats, achievements and progress, plus interact with mini games we created specifically for our streams.
It completely changed how I think about engagement. People aren’t just watching, they’re participating and becoming part of the stream.
If there’s something you wish your stream could do, build it. Even if you start small.
There are so many possibilities beyond the default tools. Let your mind run wild.
