Whose bright idea was it to raise halal prices for a “custom” bowl so that you now have to spend 3 dollars worth of flex just to be able to pick your own vegetables. It’s actually insane. Worst part is they don’t even tell you what the “meal deal” is that you can get for a meal swipe. The school always finds a way to let greed ruin something good.

Eduroam is what you as a UMBC student are supposed to connect to not UMBC Visitor. To connect follow the UMBC installer FAQ which you can find by searching up "eduroam installer UMBC". It will tell you to download something based on whether you're windows or mac. Then you will log in with your UMBC ID email and password and you should automatically connect to the network. If that doesn't work which happened to me make sure to log in with your secondary non ID UMBC email and password (making sure to click forget Eduroam network first) and you should be connected like I was. If problems still persist comment down below and maybe others or myself can help you!

I was just wondering if anyone here took Stat 350 with Yi Huang and what their experience with the class was like? I’m taking it since Stat 351 does not fit into my schedule but I’m just a bit worried since I didn’t taken Stat 121 nor have I taken AP Statistics back in high school. I did notice on Gritview that she does have a high output of As and Bs.

If anyone has taken this class with him, where to study from? for quizzes and exams and how is the level like? does he completely follow the book or the lecture notes?

Junior years physics. Im taking physics 2 honora, calc 3 and a writing class.

Idk but I fewl like my adhd has gotten worse since last semester. I just started a new adhd medication but it will take a while for it to finally kick in.

When im doing my hw assignments im reading questions over and over again cause nothing seems to process the first time.

And then its taking me forever to learn the material. And I really REALLY hate the discussion classes because im always the last one to finish.

Im so slow. Going to discussion classes feels like a humiliation ritual everytime.

I get so nervous working in groups because im always the only one getting lost or dont know what to do. I hate asking my group for help too because they are not always good at explaining stuff.

Im not going to lie, I might sound a bit dramatic, but moments like these makes me hate myself. Because I wish i wasnt so slow.

I struggle to learn so much its depressing. Ive been like this since I was a kid. Ive always been the last person in class to finish an exam ir any group work.

I have a discussion class in about 2 hours soon today and I can already feel my stomach turning.

I do plan on working with tutors soon but fck...i dont want to be this way. Im genuinely scared of failing classes this semester.

Just for context:

I’m a sophomore in my 3rd semester now. Completed 201 and 202 with an A. Have a grasp on concepts and can complete projects well NOT vibe coding. But besides the simple games or simple data structuring programs created, I really have no other projects and my dream is to get a big tech job.

I know I’m only expected to know the fundamentals but wish I could learn more. I want to go to a hackathon but really don’t got anyone to go with and not sure if I have what it takes to create an app or something.

I generally want to work hard so I stand out in the future when applying for internships.
