I-485 (General) Green card domestic flights

Upvotes

Hello my friends. I was happy to share our timeline for our green card approval and now that we celebrated we have booked a domestic flight to Puerto Rico! Anyone have any issues at TSA using their green card as the “real id”? The website says it counts for domestic flights but just wanted to know if anyone has had any issues!

I-485 (General) I-765, I-131 and I-485 Silent Updates

Upvotes

After my biometrics appointment on July 31, my I-765 and I-485 appeared to be under active review, but my I-131 did not.

Today, I noticed that both my I-765 and I-131 received their first silent updates on September 1. My I-485 received its first silent update earlier, on August 18.

My most urgent concern is obtaining my EAD through the I-765. I also submitted an expedite request, but I am unsure whether it has had any effect.

Soooo, PLEASE HELP ME:

What are your thoughts on this timeline? Do these recent updates suggest that my EAD may be approved soon?

I-751 (ROC) How common is for removal of conditions to be denied?

Upvotes

How common is it? Mostly I haven't seen lot of posts where people said their ROC got denied, but was wondering if there are instances of ROC getting denied.

And if it does, do you get sent to removal proceedings?

I-864 (Affidavit of Support) Major Immigration Form Updated, Affecting Green Card Applications

Upvotes

On August 31, 2026, USCIS announced new editions of Forms I-864, I-864A, and I-864EZ, all with an edition date of 08/24/26.

✅ As of August 31, 2026, USCIS and the Department of State accept only the 08/24/26 editions of Forms I-864, I-864A, and I-864EZ.

✅ The 10/17/24 (old) editions are no longer accepted or processed if postmarked or electronically submitted on or after August 31, 2026. Importantly, there is no grace period for continued use of the previous editions.

✅ The new editions also include a privacy release authorizing USCIS and the Department of State to obtain information from one or more consumer reporting agencies.

📌 This means USCIS or the Department of State may obtain relevant consumer reporting information when evaluating the Affidavit of Support.

📌 A consumer reporting agency is an organization that collects and provides consumer report information, which may include information relating to a person’s credit history, financial obligations, and other financial activity.

✅ USCIS also warned that if a sponsor has placed a credit or security freeze on their consumer report, the agency may be unable to access information needed to assess the Form I-864. Sponsors should respond promptly to any request to release such a freeze.

✅ Sponsors, applicants, and practitioners should make sure they are using the correct 08/24/26 edition before submitting a case.

📌 If you are preparing an adjustment of status or immigrant visa case requiring an Affidavit of Support, do not rely on an older saved version of the form. Confirm the current edition before filing.

N-400 (Citizenship) N-400 Expedite Approved! How Long Until USCIS Actually Takes Action?

Post image
Upvotes

Hi folks,

Based on your experience with USCIS under the current administration, has anyone here had an N-400 expedite request approved?

I think an expedite approval may not mean much nowadays but I’m wondering about real experiences in this year, 2026. If your N-400 expedite was approved, how long did it take before USCIS actually took the next action on your case, especially scheduling the interview?

After the expedite approval, my I-751 had a silent update on August 17 with no action, then on August 19 both my N-400 and I-751 showed FTA0 action. Does this mean USCIS is reviewing the cases internally, or does it mean nothing?

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who had an N-400 expedite approved recently in 2025 or 2026, especially if your case was handled by a field office.

USCIS Support Lost green card International Flight on December

Upvotes

As the title states.
My wife recently lost her green card, and I’m a bit worried since we have an international trip coming in December.

We called USCIS for an ADIT appt but they said she does not need one??

I’ve done some research and some people say she only needs the approval letter.

Given the current circumstances we push to get an ADIT stamp?

TIA!

I-130 & I-485 (Family/Adjustment of status) Is my GC in a bad situation

Upvotes

Hey guy. I lost my scholarship and won’t be able to continue my education this fall 26 semester. I130 is approved about 6 months ago waiting for pending GC. What happens to my GC since I lost my scholarships and can’t afford tuition myself. Means I will out of my f1 status for not continuing my education.(in other words SEVIS will be terminated/out of status)

I-130 & I-485 (Family/Adjustment of status) I485 RFE for past ARREST

Post image
Upvotes

Hi. USCIS has my disposition that i got from police department i got arrested by.
I have 2 charges PUBLIC INTOXICATION, OPERATING VEHICLE WHILE USING A CELL PHONE.
BOTH OF THEM : Disposition: FORFEITURE.
Right after released from arrest, i paid their fine, $100 for PUBLIC INTOXICATION, $60 for CELL PHONE. ( I DID NOT NEED TO GO COURT BECAUSE I PAID THOSE FINES)

Now i have find another document INCIDENT REPORT included below;
UCR: DUI (90D)
OFFENDER CHARGES: PUBLIC INTOXICATION, OPERATING VEHICLE WITH CELL PHONE.
Narrative: Explanation of the incident.

I today went to police department and city court clerk told me only document they can give me is the DISPOSITION which is USCIS already has.

I dont know how im going to find and from where. What question i have to ask to find what i need to submit.

And the last part mention that ''The secondary evidence must clearly show the legal termination of all prior marriages for both parties and must be strong enough to make up for the lack of primary evidence ''

What does it have to do with this RFE ? This RFE is clearly for Arrest records, my wife had divorced before and USCIS already has her final divorce decree. and i-130 is approved already. I have no marriage before whatsoever.

I-130 & I-485 (Family/Adjustment of status) Interview waiver

Has anyone here received a waiver at all this year? Specially for AOS marriage but while being on a valid status with no overstays and unauthorized work?
I’ve been in the US for over 10 years while being within status the entire time, I have applied for multiple EADs and visas through the years and they have all been approved with no issues. Do such cases get waivers or that’s just not a thing anymore no matter what ?

I-130 & I-485 (Family/Adjustment of status) DACA Evidence of Continuously Maintaining a Lawful Status Since Arrival in the United States

I'm in the works of submitting my AOS online and wondering what I submit for "Evidence of Continuously Maintaining a Lawful Status Since Arrival in the United States". Do I submit I-94 PLUS my DACA approvals or just I-94? Not sure since DACA doesn't count as legal status.

Timeline: Other ADIT I-551 Stamp Timeline - Record Time Maybe.

Probably the record for I-551 Adit Stamp.

Brief context, I-751 was rescheduled due to not being in the country at the time. I received a rejection letter, then a de-schedule letter, an Establishment needed proof that I was in the country legally.

My extension letter was enough to get me into the country multiple times, but this establishment didn't care as my rejection letter was the last document I received.

Only a written form UCIS document or ADIT stamp would be accepted.

For context I am on a tight deadline.

  • 8/28/2026 Called Emma around 4:30PM Pacific while in Mexico. Told to expect a call back on Monday 8/31/2026.

  • 8/29/2026 Crossed into the US via Tijuana CBX, Asked CBP if there was anyway to get an ADIT stamp there, as they could see I am legally allowed into the US. They say the extension letter should be enough but cant issue the Stamp themselves, a wished me luck with UCIS.

  • 8/31/2026 No Call- Showed up to my FO regardless to see if for some reason I could get help, no agents on site to even issue ADIT Stamps.

  • 9/1/2026 Received Call at 10 AM. Earliest Appointment September 9th. Pleaded my case and was able to come in today 9/1/2026. Stamp Received.

I-130 & I-485 (Family/Adjustment of status) I-130 pending since 2025

Hi I filed an I-130 for my wife back in Feb 2025 and I’ve seen many that have filed after that have gotten approved in a few months. I know there’s people that have been waiting longer than me but I just want to hear about how people that have gotten approved fast went about it and where they are from maybe? I’m in Texas, thinking that has to do with the delays? I was told to request an expedite since I’m military and my wife has a court date in 2027 which is 10 days after where our I-130 got delayed to
