Should I buy this? How much should I pay my parents for a 2012 Camry with 200k miles and a bad transmission?
I (f22) just graduated from college and I’m starting my first job, so I don’t have a lot in savings. My parents want to sell me their 2012 Toyota Camry, but it has over 200k miles AND needs a new transmission. They originally said $8,000, not including the cost of replacing the transmission, which I told them is way too much.
My dad asked what I think a fair price would be. I want to be respectful, but realistic. I’d have to cover the repair cost myself, and I’m just getting on my feet. What would be a fair offer for this car in its current condition?

Question Buying my first car as a college student - 2015 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Premium
Hi, I wanted to ask for your advice on the 2015 Subaru Impreza. It has 127k miles on it and seller wants 5.5k for it. I am planning on checking it out and taking a mechanic with me.
Carfax report says no accidents and the car looks clean with no visible damage.
I hope to keep through my college years so 4-5 yrs at minimum.
I wanted y'alls thoughts on this purchase. I don't know much about cars.
Any information would be much appreciated!

Question Steering wheel full lock, jittering? is this normal?
Hi I recently wanted to buy a used car, it is a hyundai i10
I loved the car, but one thing I noticed was that the steering wheel jitters when I try to steer fully (fully locked to left or right both)
Is this normal? the dealer told me it is normal for such a small car, when I told him I had a VW polo, and it never happened with that, or any other cars I drive.
This is my first time driving such a small car, so I got no idea if this is legit or they just trying to hide that fact.
Can someone with good car knowledge please help me :)

Which one would you buy?
Hi all, looking for advice between two SUVs both same make, model and trim.
I'm happy with the brand and model and don't want to create any bias over models so it's a full sized SUV but won't mention make/model. Also both are at the current local market average value but I'll put the price in USD (not in the US). Both have standard features like remote start, apple/android connectivity, cruise control, lane keep, electric seats etc.
Option 1
2023
$43200
33k mi
Black exterior, black leather interior
\* Panoramic roof, power folding 2 and 3 row, power tailgate, heated and cooled seats, refrigerator in center console , 4x4\*
Option 2
2024
$44000
27k mi
Silver/grey exterior, cloth tan/beige interior
\* Non of the above mentioned additional options and it's 4x2 \*
Price wise almost identical, but one is older with more options and higher mileage and the other is newer with lower options and lower mileage. Both have dealer warranty for 5 years from the manufactur date. Both appear to be in good condition, but will ideally send both to the dealer for a full inspection before purchase. Both have also been serviced at the dealer since new as they're under service packages.
So what would you choose? Newer, lower mileage, lower options, slightly more expensive or older, higher option, higher mileage slightly cheaper?

I think there are 4 options...
Is it possible to find any of these cars used for under 10,000 in the Philly area?
CR-V, Forester, Outback or Rav4

Range rover Velar S 2021 $34000
I am thinking about to buy a Range Rover Velar 2021 is it a good option to buy that or not? I really like that car, but I’m pretty much concerned about its mechanical issue and lots of people says that it’s not reliable

Looking for Advice
I’m needing to get a second car and I’m having a hard time finding the best one for my budget. I only have 5k I can spend and my goal is something that will last long on mileage. We currently have 2 children still in car seats but if possible I’d like to try to find something that could fit another baby in the near future if we end up having another one.
