So I was lurking you girls know where to be entertained a bit. And I found all sorts of excuses to justify August's revenue. Most of the antis were just... choosing to gaslight themselves, but hateful comments like this really get under my skin. I got mad for Valko and, as one of the cuties, for Rafayel too. So now they're hating on the other guys too. These people need therapy.

I think this is actually the future for the antis and soon they'll get more and more divided. While we thrive on unity, they want the world tailored to their wants and f everything and everyone else. The trash will take itself out eventually.

For now, we'll keep boycotting not just for Valko but for the future of the game we, sane players, built. And just for the record: Rafayel is the whole fucking meal. I wish irl men were half as manly as he is. The theme of his myth was also fire. I didn't spend by principle not for the stuff this nincompoop is making up.

Today marks September 1st, 63 days since June 30th. I wanted to write this post to express how much I love this community and the fellow Valkyries fighting for our little wolf to return.

I'm a semi-lurker and long-time player that's been boycotting since his cancelation. And let me just say, I am proud. Of everyone, and myself. We have accomplished SO much in this boycott! From charities, billboards, events and especially the huge impact in revenue. Whatever comes next, we can pull through this together. Just like always.

In the meantime, I have been getting ready for his return, treating myself to a box of strawberries with chocolate milk. So that when he pops up in that café, it'll be ”welcome home, valko“

As of July 27th, the dumbbells were not active. Today I went on and saw that they are but you cannot currently interact. Same with the ball.

According to data from sensor tower the global spending decreased by 1m during Aug compared to july (a banner-less month no less) !!

Since there is still some copium from the antis about the revenue for August, I wanted to do a post just in case some of us still had some doubt about it. Also, because I know there are some lurkers here who still might think we are the delusional ones, when actually, they are the ones who can’t read a graph and do actual research.

So, the usual argument is that even if the numbers are low, it’s because there is an actual boycott which began before ours. It is supposed to start when Valko was introduced on the 22th of June. For that claim, they said that the DAU dropped since then and that right now, the DAU is half from what it was so OBVIOUSLY the revenue gonna reflect that. So all things considered, august is actually doing pretty good, right ?

Well before we look at the actual data, I have a few things to say.

Firstly, the antis are talking about the Chinese playerbase, and completely ignore the global players, because it’s pretty obvious that in our case, there are VERY little players who actually stopped playing the 22 of June. However, we are approximately 40% to half of their revenue, can we really ignore that ? The numbers about the global side is just bad BAD. We are mostly looking at the Qimai iOS number numbers though, so if we focus on the Chinese side, I also have other things to say. When there is a boycott going on, you can be pretty sure that the people are gonna be LOUD. We saw that from the antis at the beginning of Valko release, when we began to boycott for Valko and a bit from Caleb mains at his solo release. But when the Raf myth was released ? Crickets. I was on XHS when that happened and I didn’t see ONE comment saying that they were still boycotting other than for Valko. Where are the boycotters then ? Are they all silent ? You want me to believe that the Chinese players, who did go as far as sending death threats, cow dung shit, funeral flowers, buying tons of bots and leading a whole smear campaign, are now silent on their boycott ? When they are supposed to be half the Chinese playerbase ? And we are the delusional ones here.

Another thing is that when Raf myth was released, many players intended to spend big money on his myth. Many comments on the Chinese side were actually excited. On the global side as well since some wanted to whale to counter our protest (#WhalesInAction). And there is Ursula who also makes her minions promise to whale on the myth as well. We indeed saw that they really wanted the illusion of the myth going well on the first day, but it completely crashed afterwards. Despite all of that remaining players, who invented to whale for many, it is still the worst selling myth ever. NDZ who was a very awaited rerun did bad as well.

So, about the actual DAU thing. First and foremost, DAU data are way less accessible than revenue. Only the company has access to the actual data. Now, maybe some of you might have seen it, but two graphs are sometimes spread around by antis.

So, since I was intrigued by their arguments, and we all know how they love spreading misinformation that fits their narrative and twisting reality, I did some research. First and foremost, the second graph is only using the data of the first one, it’s pretty obvious when we look at the numbers. Also, it was mentioned by the creator of those data that they used the first graph.

So I look into this Biba thing, while I also look at the image of the first graph. I was able to find a forum, and even if my brain took its sweet time to connect the dots, Biba refers to the Chinese forum named “bi ba zhuan lou ba”. It seems to be a forum where people share their analysis of some games (like Locke Kingdom mentioned here). Now, coming back to our graph, it will be easier with the traduction so here we go :

Maybe you get it if you read it, but yeah the Statistics source is written to be “anonymous”. Apparently on this site, they often use some personal source to scrape the data, here it seems they “include channel information” and “excluding studio data”. Unfortunately, we don’t have any way to verify the information provided here. However the justification that the user who does the news statistics used to say that this data is established is a bit shallow. Biba is a forum. Users who post their statistics are not the same. Maybe some were verified in the Locke Kingdom fandom. It is not “biba” directly scraping info, and even if some user did use software that human players info and filtering studio tech accounts, only Infold has those real numbers.

This graph was the only one posted on the DAU and no other stats correlated this one.

Now, you might be wondering, do we really have no other data about the DAU ?

The answer is that we actually do have other datas, but it doesn’t fit the antis narrative so it wasn’t spread by them. Fortunately this one is not backed up by an anonymous source but by the highest trusted source we could have : Sensor Tower.

It was shared here on the Analysis part of the wonderful releasevalko.com site (I highly recommend checking this page, it’s very insightful). So credit to them for the data.

I’m letting their analysis for everything to be more clear. So yeah, the conclusions are completely different from what anti says.

It was shared by u/Naho_May (here the link to the tweet https://x.com/Naho_May/status/2091193742950551568 ) and also from Sensor Tower. It is indeed correlated to the previous data, so it makes stronger evidence about the actual DAU number than the anonymous source. Here we can also see a peak of connection after the announcement of the 6th love interest, Valko, and it drastically decreased after his cancellation.

So, what are the conclusions about that ?

Well :

- The graphs used by the antis are from an unverified source and don’t hold strong evidence

- The graphs used by us are from Sensor Tower, the highest data authority we can have

- The DAU didn’t decrease when Valko was announced, but when he was cancelled, both in China AND in global

And finally, the main point I wanted to make is :

The antis are NOT boycotting since the beginning, and the revenue tanking is NOT their doing. It is from us, the Valkyries and everyone that was annoyed about Valko cancellation for any reason.WE are the one doing it, and their “logic” about the revenue tanking because half the players are not here anymore (their doing apparently) to spend falls apart when we look at the actual data.

So, what are the excuses now ? That the datas are now miraculously wrong ? The top charts too ? Every data available right now ? In any case, can’t wait to see how false narrative they will push now. Because for our part, we are actually doing one of the most efficient boycotts in the gaming history, maybe even THE most efficient one. And no one can remove that from us. Whatever will happen, I’m very proud of us all.

Not only was it delayed but it flopped hard. I was honestly expecting them to earn 20 mil this month but it's even lower lol

ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT!?

I've seen a few people claiming silly things like "Revenue went down and the Valko stans think they won".

Here's the thing - I don't deny that there may be players that may boycott for other reasons that do not include Valko. And quite honestly that's perfectly fine.

But just because those players exist it does not minimize our efforts to get a message across.

As long as you boycotted: not spending, not logging in, being loud and active in social media, or any combination of these - then the success of the boycott belongs to you as much as any other boycotter.

And right now, unless someone really has an extensive analysis on the demands of everyone that is boycotting or even those that just outright left - any claim will be as valid as the other.
To say that those that boycott for Valko's return are actually the minority compared to those that boycott for main story / farming resources / fairness / whatever - is as valid as saying the complete opposite.

So my Valkyries lovelies, don't let anyone try to rip this prize out of your hands.

Everything in that letter (that they love to brag about just because valko was cancelled) didn’t come true.

First of all, good job everyone, boycott numbers look great. I'm especially astonished at the global numbers, they're a third less then the empty July.

Second, I wanted to talk a bit about the game's future. I think Infold will release Valko, and soon. Even if not now, they'll do it eventually. If they don't, the game will slowly die.

But, even when they release him... I feel like the damage is already done. Some people already quit, some will return but cut spending. I'm not sure they will get a lot of new players after this scandal. For many present players, the spell has been lifted. As it was for me. Since I started playing in 2024, I've never missed a myth, I was so excited to read them for all the characters. Raf's VMG is the first exception, since I'm boycotting. Raf is my second favorite. I was so scared before it released, I thought it'll be so painful to ignore it. But when it launched, I felt nothing. I haven't even watched it on YouTube. I didn't have any cravings to login and pull. It's so strange to stand on the ruins of your obsession and remember how tightly it was gripping you. I saw other people having the same reaction.

When Valko will release, I'll go back to play, get to know him and his story. But l'm not sure it will be enough to repair what was lost. I hope I still can enjoy the game. But... I'm not sure I will be able to. I don't know what developers will have to do to repair the trust. I think with their rush decisions and a long time if mismanagement and greed, they destroyed the game's future. I don't think Lads will ever return to topping the charts, the fandom will remain fractured. And this saddens me so much. This game was good and it had a lot of potential. It did a lot of the things phenomenally well. I'm mourning what could have been.

As a solace, I still enjoy Lads fan art and fanfics, maybe I'll just continue doing this, while it brings me joy.

Warm/Cool contrast is often used in art and design--from painting to fashion to interior design--and the result creates visual harmony. When you split the solar spectrum in half, one side is reds, oranges, and yellows (warm-associated colors) while the other is greens, blues, and purples (cool-associated colors).

I think it's another instance of how Valko was planned from the start as his color brings balance to the palette.

The colors may not align with the LIs associated with the light/dark theory but imo the LaDS art/design team is GOAT'd and they use multiple metaphors for depth and visual storytelling.

Art is subjective and color theory is, well, theory which can be influenced by culture, time period, and more so other creative professionals and color enthusiasts feel free to weigh in.

I can't believe I'm explaining this but the amount of CDGs who are saying we shouldn't stream TT if we're boycotting is crazy.

We are not boycotting for the sake of boycotting, we're sending a message to infold that we don't support them if Valko is not released. Boycotting the entire game and supporting the only Valko related thing (his theme song) sends a CLEAR message to infold about what we want.

It's very smart actually! Money is the only language they understand, and we're giving them a taste of Valko's success, that will show them how much Valko can make if he's out (I mean they already know by now but we ain't moving until wolfie is in the destiny Cafe)

There are dumbasses who also say ratioing the official posts defies the boycott, again this is not just a boycott this is a protest we are meant to be loud and annoying until we're heard (infold wouldn't buy likes and bots if they liked that ratio lol)

Last july Lads made around 10m and was in 16th place BUT before you people start panicking lets use our brains for a minute.

• In july we had : GOA rerun, WIW rerun and promise rerun with two empty weeks
• In Aug we had : new caleb solo, new rafayel myth, new promises with elf accessories, paid Qixi outfits and anticipated sylus rerun.

Do you realize how bad this is? with all this premium content they stacked they only made 7m more than half empty month of july
