Hey all, from Hamilton area looking to buy a used car that’s in Vaughan. Does anyone know of a mechanic that offers a mobile pre purchase inspection?

The car is actually at a shop right now - so they’d have access to the bay and could easily lift the car up. Dude just won’t let me drive it to another mechanic citing “insurance” (but will let me test drive it… red flag!) Most of the mobile PPI things I see online are sketchy looking.

I'm in a bit of a frustrating situation and wanted to check if anyone knows Big Al's return or exchange policy for a tank that's been set up for less than 7 days. I was explicitly told by a staff member that a 1 gallon tank was "more than enough" for a betta fish... They really pushed me into buying it. Since getting it home and doing my own research I’ve realized 1 gallon is way too small and I desperately want to upgrade to at least 5 gallons...

When I went back to the store... there was no clear return policy posted anywhere and the staff told me that because I had filled it with water, I couldn't just do a standard return. Instead, they said they would work with me on getting a discount on a new aquarium but then they only push me into buying an expensive $179 saltwater tank setup instead of a simple tank for a betta.

Has anyone had any experience trying to return or exchange a tank that has already been used for a few days?
